They use "smart" thermostats and they control your temperature in your; home where you're paying more than $1500 for rent. During freezing temperatures, the heat has been as low as 60 degrees in home.

Community it wonderful! No major issues have occurred since moving in. Really love the no breed restrictions so I can have my sweet pup! I absolutely love living here and most of ghe neighbors are very friendly and considerate of shared spaces.

Living at MAA Chase Gayton has had its ups and downs. Not long after moving in, my A/C was broken, I kept seeing roaches in kitchen, and the doors to the laundry and hallways closet kept coming off of the tracks. I will say maintenance acted quickly on most of these issues, but now after a winter storm here, I can say they, like a lot of us, were definitely unprepared. Although we were one of the neighborhoods cleared out fairly quickly, the snow plows trapped our cars for two days and the leasing office had one singular shovel for use which ended up being broken. I missed two days of work and appointments. Now with another storm on the way they expect us to deal with it ourselves if we're stuck and I think that's absolutely ridiculous. I've already had enough issues here before the weather events and things just keep getting worse. Not sure if I'll renew, if I do it'll be because I'm out of options.

Depending on what building you choose, the apartments can be old and balconeys are shabby and need updating/repairs. They charge you to replace any blinds in your apartment (even though they were NOT replaced upon moving in).

The balcony doors in your bedroom is not insulated well, because you can hear every car car that drives by. The floor is unlevel and creeks when you walk. You can hear when people close the door to the building. The pool water is salty and not deep. The windows do not close all the way. The refrigerator is too close to the pantry door. The apartment cost too much and it's old. The closets are small. The toilets are for midgets. There is not alot of storage space. The parking lot is not well lit and the parking spots are very small, they should have double lines.

Decent apartments. The units are well kept and have spacious rooms. No bug issues. Maintenance workers are good at what they do and turnaround time is quick. I like that they accept pets large and small. The only complaints I have is they raise the rent every time your lease renews and the common areas of the apartments are not well kept. Carpets in the common areas are old and needs deep cleaning and clunks of spider webs sometimes gather on ceiling fans and doorways.

I've enjoyed my time at this community. The only thing I don't care for is the parking sometimes I can't get a space in front of building. There are vehicles that are not in use everyday that sit in front spaces for months.

I live here because it is close to the highway, friends and family. Really the location is great! My apartment has not been updated and looks pretty gross while I'm still paying top rental fees! It's not the most friendly of a neighborhood and if I didn't say hello first, most people will walk right by you and never even recognize your existence.

In the last 6 months, there's been several items that have improved aesthetically for pleasing visuals. The lawn behind bldg 34 unkept. Outside A/C unit control panels are not affixed . Outside carwash is inoperable .

The community is conveniently located a few miles from major shopping areas and the highway but the immediate area is pleasantly quiet and largely wooded. They do not offer on site recycling but there is a recycling center less than a mile away near the fire station. They are pet friendly, but they Will make pet owners pay a fee to replace the carpet when you move out, whether there is damage or not. Many of my neighbors have large breeds of dog but we rarely hear them; The walls are well insulated. There are a number of children in the community but overall they are usually well behaved. Parking is unassigned but ample. The apartments are overpriced (but where isn't?). They are pretty and have decent, somewhat modern amenities. The maintenance team is friendly and fast to respond but their competence levels vary significantly. The office staff is helpful but always seem grumpy when they answer the phone. Overall it is an expensive but pleasant place to live.

The community is very well maintained, friendly and welcoming. I believe it may be affected negatively by some irresponsible residents but management does a great job in trying to improve. I admire there monthly events and being very active in the residence.

I love living here. The staff is great and I love the location. Communication from the team is critical and I am kept abreast of anything occurring within the community. The activities they have for renters on a monthly basis is a bonus.

Very friendly staff, very clean apartments in a good location and safe neighborhood. My apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, along with a private balcony and a fireplace. I'm very happy here. I will be here awhile

The community is fine. Maybe some more speed bumps for people speeding. I have witnessed someone almost being hit by a car. Also I am tired of the neighbors under me. They argue and scream. It has occurred during 5am during a weekday. Apparently everyone else in the building is used to it.

It's been up and down but I'm ready to move. I would move now if I wasn't in a lease.There has not been any major renovations to my apartment offered only if something breaks down. The apartment is not worth the money that I pay per month.

It is a comfortable community. The apartment is nice and has a lot of space and storage. The walls are not super thin, so normally, you cannot hear the neighbors. Maintenance is quick and helpful. The office puts on drop-in events frequently.

Rent is too high! Having to deal with this renters insurance change is absolutely, infuriating! Im tired of paying my rent on time just to have to argue over ridiculous fees and no one seems to give a ----! But you want your money on time!

MAA Chase Gayton has been great: nice renovations, well maintained, reasonable price for what it is, good location. Pet friendly, though some of them are loud. Landscaping is attractive and there are good places to walk nearby.

Worse complex ever

This is the worst place I ever lived I never call maintenance so many times in my life nothing works in this old apartment complex. The first weekend I moved here my dishwasher flooded my apartment then the fridge went bad I had to get a new one of those. Then my dryer and my washer and even my water heater went bad it was leaking from upstairs. If you could avoid this place you should they are not worth it.

Everything is good about living here, except I don't like about dumping trash. I don't like taking trash all the way to half mile, either walking or take with my car making my car dirty. thats all I hate about living here.

Always a problem with Trash at the community Trash Dumpster. Many residents do not follow rules for getting rid of their trash. Need a better barrier preventing people from discarding trash inappropriately. Problem occurs quite often on extended Holidays (3 day weekends) And at night when nobody is watching. Quite often it also Non-residents that have free access to the Dump site.

The location is great and staff friendly. Maintenance staff is also top notch. However, management tends to completely ignore noise complaints. If you are looking for a quiet complex, you may want to look elsewhere.
