i have lived here since 2020 we love it here, clean grounds we also have many amenities, the pool is clean and kept up, a dog washing station, a new dog park, and new kids play area. they have up dated the inside with new everything. the staff and maintenance are wonderful; they go above and beyond for us. and always doing something special for the tenants. come have a look and see for yourself, thanks from Elaine and family

Positive! Everyone in management is so helpful and my apartment is brand new and the amenities are new and everything is great. I love being close to the interstate and Hiltop and the beach. I do plan on renewing until June 2026 and the only reason it’s not longer is because my boyfriend and I are going to be moving in together.

I lived here since 2020, my 1st unit I've had minor issues. The complex is convenient to many shops and in a good location. My current unit I've had many issues some I am still dealing with. Leaking windows, pest issue (have seen pest control yet), plumbing. Staff is good and always pleasant to talk to

My experience in the first week was awesome as the staff and the maintenance team were very nice and welcoming. The second week of me living here things turned when a neighbors vicious dog almost attacked my guest and I was the one who received a lease violation based off of assumptions. I am not happy at all! I’m hoping things get better.

The units are beautiful and love how they’ve been redone. The price point is great, and the location is incredible. The staff are insanely helpful and maintenance is prompt. The office staff/maintenance staff can really make or break a community as I’ve learned over the years, and there is a great team here.

Lived here for 11 years, highly recommend this property, the team is excellent always willing to help and get any issues handled. The grounds are always taken care of, big dog community, enjoy the pool every summer. Pool hours are amazing and always clean and taken care of. I enjoy living here and will continue to stay.

Overall an excellent experience living here. The staff is the best I have experienced for Virginia Beach apartments. The Maintenance staff is to be praised for their hard work, friendly demeanor, and quick responses. Even though the walls are thin, the neighbors are very respectful. Living so close to Laskin Roads has been great! I would recommend this apartment complex to both family and friends.

I have enjoyed my experience living at the Courtyards of Chanticleer so far. The staff is friendly and helpful whenever I need clarification on something. I also like that my maintenance issue was resolved in a very prompt manner despite me labeling it as a low priority. I like the fact I do not have to worry about parking and that my parking space is close to where I stay. Beyond that, the area has so many amenities close by, such as close proximity to the ocean front, various fast food places, a walmart, target dmv and more. I would definitely recommend this area to any friends looking to move in the future.

Clean, quiet. Within walking distance of Walmart and other Hilltop shops if you can make it past the construction on Laskin. Biggest downside probably the water shutoffs if you're home during the day, but it's always come back on by the time I'm home from work.

The leasing office main asset is Jackie, excellent customer experience. The Maintenance crew Jaimie, Mike and Rainer, are very knowledgeable and also a great asset to CO Chantircleer. They are friendly with my dogs, and listen to your concerns.

The Courtyards of Chanticleer is a nice place to live, especially for apartment living. The renovated apartments make the layouts feel bigger and more luxurious. Having the private patio space is also a huge plus to unwind outside. It has overall been a good experience.

Low budget work all construction is low quality. Walls paper thin can hear neighbors snoring. Closets have no insulation so heat/cold leaks into apartment increasing electric bill. Floors not leave leaking glue. Only notifications we receive from office is that they are going to be closed during working hours or that their will be a water shutoff but that’s usually after it’s already happened.
