Love the neighbors and staff. Maintenance has been awesome! The schools are amazing. The only reason we would move is to upgrade our space. We were able to make our living here feel like home, which is so important.

I have just recently moved to this location and the work and response from the staff has been amazing. They quickly responded to any issues and questions I had. The area is nice a quiet and there have been no noise complaints from me.

I enjoy living at the Courtyards of Chanticleer. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and their maintenance team is very proactive and timely in their responses. The property is well maintained and convenient to shopping at Hilltop, Great Neck and the Oceanfront events and festivals. I love that it is a dog-friendly place to live with a dog park and other amenities. All this & more is why I’ve been happy here for many years

The staff were very helpful during the move in process and the accommodations a great. The big thing for me is the maintenance request they legit came the next day to fix what was broken. I'm not saying they will do that every time but when I say these people get though done, they get stuff flipping done.

Nice community with great amenities. Once you get used to the jets it's really pretty quiet. Safe and conveniently located. Close to the oceanfront, hilltop shopping, and Birdneck Rd. One of the few communities that welcomes large breed dogs.

I started living here in 2020. It was during the pandemic and I came from living in a hotel paying 400$ a week. The people here have always been friendly and handled every maintained issue promptly. Unfortunately I'll have to move with my lease is up because my apartment is too small and the two bedrooms out here I cannot afford.

The neighborhood is good. I’ve been living here since 2022 and the place it’s self is affordable and worth the rent. I’m AD so it’s fairly close to the base and in a good area as far as activities, stores and restaurants. The only con are the jet planes flying over the area at any given time which can be very disturbing at times but that’s out of our control. Pet Friendly community as well & from what I’ve seen, the neighborhood pets are secure and never left alone. Maintenance answers my tickets usually within 24-48 hrs and I’ve been satisfied with their help.

Courtyards of Chanticleer is wonderful! The staff is great, living is comfortable, and rent is affordable. I have lived here for about 3 years, and I absolutely love living here. It’s peaceful and quiet, and it is conveniently located in the 23451. If you are looking for a place to live that’s near the oceanfront, I highly recommend Chanticleer!

The office will talk to you about any concerns and they will listen. I like their pet policies. The grounds are well kept. The apartments are a good size and close to stores and the beach. If I have a problem the maintenance men are great about fixing whatever.

Needs improvement. Quiet so far but many maintenance issues on move in. I have had faulty AC, a front door that looked like someone tried to pry it open, issues with insulation, issues with fridge, and a maintenance team that has treated me like I was being unreasonable because I wanted these things fixed. Work promised to be done but never completed. I have learned "you won't know we're here" means there is no plan for it to be done. I am still holding out they can do better. One maintenance guy threatened my dog, who was secured-in my home. A big no no.

Maintenance staff is always on point and friendly. Renovation team may need rehab. The only internet hookup was drywalled over, requiring cox to come out, locate the jack, and drill into the wall to put a plate on. AC unit was not functional for the first few days. Trash was left in cabinets and closets. Office staff will say “ were sorry our renovations don’t meet your standards” when addressed about it.

Steeling my security deposit

This property is attempting to charge me, in addition to taking my entire security deposit, for renovation occurring immediately after move out. They claimed my unit wasn’t cleaned, even after I provided them with an invoice communicating with my cleaners that I had the unit cleaned. I never was asked to fill out a move in inspection, yet I am being charged for basic wear and tear to the unit. I have already filed a complaint with the BBB

There are some good things about living here. The proximity to shopping, restaurants, the beach, etc. is good, the pool/clubhouse is nice and clean, and the dog bag stations/trash cans are convenient. The property overall is not well maintained though. The sidewalks, dumpster area, and grass areas are often cluttered with trash, broken glass, and dog feces. The lawn service sometimes does not come for 4-5 weeks at a time, which makes it look unkept and makes it hard for dogs to walk or children to play.

I have lived at the Courtyards of Chanticleer for almost 8 years. I've never had any issues that haven't been quickly resolved. Very safe and quiet (other than the jets that is!). I would highly recommend.

The staff, to include maintenance were all super friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, my issues are issues that apparently are only worthy of temporary fixes and comes with the territory of being in an older neighborhood. I wouldn't recommend especially with all the traffic that's on Laskin road due to construction.
