Good choice
So I moved into chanticleer last year and I'm happy with my choice. They are older buildings, but they have renovated them. I live in a one bedroom and I have plenty of room. I live here alone with my puppy and besides the jets flying over its pretty quiet. It's nice to know I can walk my dog and take my trash out without having to worry about any trouble. The property is clean and well kept. Maintenance is usually pretty quick and if they don't fix the problem the first time, they make sure it gets fixed The next time. The office staff is always helpful and seems to do whatever they can to help you out with any questions that you may have. There are lots of families that live here which makes it feel a little more homey. My favorite thing about chanticleer is that it's in such a great location. Close enough to bike to the beach and close enough to hop on the highway. The hilltop area is a popular place to be and chanticleer is right in the middle of it. So I would definitely reccomend moving here.

Very glad I moved to Chanticleer
Living in Chanticleer has certainly been a great experience thus far. I ve lived here for a little over a month and this is my first apartment. I live alone and have had no concerns about safety for myself or my personal belongings. The office staff is great. I believe the woman who showed me around the complex was Dana and she was a great help; very informative and knowledgeable about the complex. After speaking with her I knew this is where I wanted to live and ended my apartment search that day. Maintenance is great as well. They surprise me how fast they are in responding to work orders. I was concerned that I wouldn't get used to the jet noise but even that is a non-issue now. I would most certainly recommend moving to Chanticleer. Chanticleer is in a great area, has a great staff, and is a great price. Whether you are looking to find your first apartment or looking to raise your family, Chanticleer is certainly the place.

great apartment, great location!
We moved over to the Chanticleer apartments after living at the Olympic Village apartments in Norfolk for 6 months. Chanticleer had many of the things we were looking for in a decent place to live, like location to highways, shopping and entertainment, safety and many options from which to choose. My husband and I chose to move into a 2 BR, 1.5 BA apartment and it is great! The master bedroom is huge, as is the living room space. The second bedroom is a bit small, barely fitting a double bed and dresser, but it works for what we need. Having the half bath downstairs is fabulous and the full bath upstairs is great. The galley kitchen is really small for my liking, but that s just a personal preference thing. It is a pretty decent kitchen all things considered, with a full size fridge, electric oven/range, dishwasher, disposal and apartment-sized washer/dryer. There is not a whole lot of counter space or storage, so if you have a lot of kitchen stuff, you might want to consider bringing some extra storage of your own. The eating area flows into the living room space, so you just have to make do with what kind of table you bring in. we have a full-sized maple table and it works great for eating and for putting a large spread of food out for entertaining. All of the apartments also have small, fenced-in patios in the back. Ours is half cement, half weedy crab grass, but I m not sure what the others are like. It s not a bad patio, decent size for grilling or putting out some lawn chairs. They allow you to plant some flowers, which is nice. The only complaint about the patio is that the cable wires for the house are just flopping around on the side of the building so it doesn t look very nice. There is also no gate/door to our patio, but a few of my neighbors have one on theirs. I have contacted the office about it and they said they are waiting to hear if something like that can/will be installed on all patios or not, but we have the option to install our own. Also, there is no screen for the French doors out to the patio, so you will need to either make do without it or get your own screen system. Overall, the complex is well taken care of and looks nice. You really can t beat the location either. We re right across the street from the Hilltop shopping center, less than 5 miles from the oceanfront and a less than 5-minute drive to 264. Parking isn t bad; each building has a lot with 1 assigned space and plenty of unassigned guest spots if you have 2 cars for your household. The awesome thing about this place is that there s no parking sticker or permit! You just need to keep the office updated on your vehicles and be sure to not park in someone else s spot or in a fire zone space. There is a pool on the property, but I haven t used it, so I don t know how it is and there is also a gym, however it is at the Linkhorn Bay apartments, so you might as well just go to the Y that s directly across the street. There is a playground and this neighborhood has LOTS of kids, so it s definitely kid-friendly. The office staff are wonderful and answer any and all questions quickly and kindly. They go out of their way to make sure their residents are happy. Overall, this is a great place to live. We are fairly close to Oceana Air base, so there is the jet noise often, but it s something you grow used to. My only complaints are that the kitchen appliances could use some updating, what was mentioned above in regards to the patio and that the window screens don t really fit in the windows very well (but the windows ARE brand new).

Amazing Customer Service.....
I moved into Chanticleer earlier this month and have had nothing but positive things to say. Dana in the rental office has been extremely helpful with the whole process from viewing to leasing. She is so pleasant and makes you feel completely at ease as you walk into the door. I am leasing the 2 bed 1.5 bath and it is so spacious I have room to spare. My apartment was clean I did have a few small maintenance requests but they were all handled with in the same day. Parking is ample and the grounds are well maintained. So far so good and as long as things stay this good I will definitely renew next year!

I Love Chanticleer !!!!
From the moment I first stepped foot into the Chanticleer Apartments office, I knew I had found something special. Maybe it was the smiling faces that met me when I walked through the door, or maybe the upbeat manner of the lovely and informative lease agent as she showed me around the complex. I can honestly say that after looking at numerous other Apartment complexes in the Va Beach vicinity, this was the one for me! The office staff goes out of its way to be helpful, informative, and professional in every meaning of the word. Not only does the office staff get four stars, the maintenance crew is incredible and so good at what they do. Here are some of the things that really impressed me about Chanticleer....... The grounds are well manicured, clean, and well lit at night. There are lots of parking spaces, and many places to walk dogs safely at all hours. The apartments themselves are well built, roomy, and very clean. The complex is close to all types of shopping and restaurants, but also very close to the beach. I could go on, but my advice is to check Chanticleer out for yourself. I found my new home there, and you can too!!! Thank you Chanticleer for being exactly what i was looking for.....

No problems here!
I've lived at Chanticleer for a little over two years with my family. I feel like we've made our townhouse feel like a real house which I think is awesome. You can't really find a townhouse that is bigger than this. I love that the living room is open and can fit our sectional couch and other big furniture. We also have a master bedroom with an attached full bath...most apartments don't have that luxury. We are so close to everything too. I shop exclusively at Hilltop just because it's so convenient. You will hear the jets a lot but I think you would hear them anywhere close to here. We are pretty used to it by now. The staff at the leasing office has always been really nice to my family and I. I think it's a no-brainer...if you treat them with respect, they will do the same. They respond quickly to most requests and always remember me by name. We haven't had many maintenance problems while we have lived here...just a few minor issues that would probably happen in any home. Overall I definitely recommend living here. It feels like a quaint neighborhood where everyone is friendly. It's a great place and great prices.

Great Customer Service
I am a current resident and pleased to say that out of all the properties I have rented from, Chanticleer apartments is number one. Besides the great maintenance staff, well kept grounds and nice apartment accommodations, the customer service is great. I will say this is due to one of the employee's Dana Cook. A young lady who has gone beyond the call of duty to make sure that my family as well as myself were satisfied with the property from the time she leased it, had it prepared and down to us having to leave due to military orders. As long as great people like herself and the rest of the staff at chanticleer apartments are there, I will definitely keep coming back and never hesitate to let everyone know as well that Chanticleer apartments is a great place to stay.

Improving
I moved to Chanticleer last summer to a 3 bedroom townhome. First of all, its huge. I shopped around to a bunch of other places before choosing Chanticleer, and could not find a place this big, this close to the beach, with such value. To be honest, I would think that they could charge even more for the place I live in when compared to the other places I've seen. When I moved in, you could tell they were in the process of doing a lot of work on the property. Over the summer and so far this year, the place looks a whole lot better. Hopefully now they won't jack up the rents on everyone! The maintenance staff has been great since they made some changes too. I have called in a few requests and the staff showed up that same day like 30 minutes later. Overall I would definitely recommend this place. I hope to stay as long as possible.

It Hasn't Been Great
Moving in was an interesting process. The dishwasher won't open unless we lean into the oven. When I let the leasing staff know that I was upset about the problem, she said she would "send someone to fix it." Fix what? A basic design flaw? What are the half-wit maintenance guys going to do? Remove the dishwasher and move it to the left an inch? Our neighbors across the hall are loud and smoke an insane amount of pot. The neighbors above us have an infant. I have not slept through a single night since they moved in. Both neighbors smoke in their apartments and make ours smell terrible. We have to constantly be on the look out for mold. It is ridiculous. I bought clementines on a Monday and forgot to put them in the fridge. By Thursday, they are starting to mold! I keep a very clean house, so it is not for lack of trying. I am always relatively happy with our living arrangements until I need something from the management. Then it is all about the "of course; we'll see what we can do..." I have filed service requests for the same problem five times over the course of a month! Nothing has happened yet. Not even a call back regarding the requests. The onsite laundry facilities are a joke. When the washers and dryers work, they don't work well. There are three dryers and three washers per room. Essentially that means, you will have to hover over a machine until it is available. However, the laundromat down the street is 1) cheaper 2) cleaner and 3)bigger. The complex is also directly under power lines, which isn't great for anyone's health, and only accessible by using the service roads down Laskin. Traffic is almost always horrible, coming or going. I don't hate living here. The space is nice, although the kitchen is small and the cabinets are shallow. However, with the combination of out of date appliances, god awful neighbors, and virtually -------- leasing staff, I will not stay another year.

Good Value
I have lived here for 3 years and aside from constant problems with the air conditioning unit (primarily due to it's age), I haven't had any major problems. I moved in on a "special" and have been very pleased with the rent that I am paying. The Staff here is very courteous, and professional. I have NEVER encountered a rude employee and that speaks volumes. Maintenance hasn't always been the best but it is improving. Since new management has taken over, I can tell where the rent money is being spent. The grounds are looking better, we now have a gate to close off our back patio for added privacy and we are awaiting new pavement for our parking lot in a few weeks. I am more than pleased with that. The location is prime because it is so close to the beach and Hilltop Shopping Center has everything you could possibly need. The neighborhood is relatively quiet. I also appreciate having a washer and dryer in my unit. I have 2 small children and it sure comes in handy. The only thing that is mildly disappointing is there is no fitness facility on-site, and no additional storage space as the closets are not that large. Overall, I am satisfied and will continue to live here until my needs change.

My first month at Chanticleer
I have only been living at Chanticleer for one month but in that one month I have recieved very good knowledge of what the complex is doing. I recieve notes on my door in a timely manner about repairs to the property so that I can be prepared for them. That is definately a plus compared to my previous landlord/apartment complex. I have also had one issue in my apartment that was fixed very quickly and efficiently and for that I was very pleased... hope the good care continues.

Getting Better
I have lived in these apartments for about 3 years and for the most part I havent had any major issues aside for AC refreshes which is pretty normal when living in an apartment. I would like to say that the new manager Chris seems to be a better fit for this property. In the 3.5 years I've lived here we've had about 3 and he seems to care about improving this property and the preception of it. Maintaince is still a little slow, but it's improving. Andy is also great even if she doesnt have an answer right away I can always expect at least an update to let me know the status of a work order ect. They have also been pretty patient and understanding with me whenever I've had any financial set backs. All in all its a close knit staff and although they have had some set backs they appear to be moving upward and onward to making Chanticleer a top rated property.

The Best
We moved into the Courtyards in April 2011 and I have to say it took a little to get used to to go from a house to a 3 bedroom townhouse, but everything has worked out to be wonderful. The office staff has been very understanding, and I feel like when there is an issue they care and try to do their best to resolve it. I notice that people complain about maintenance and that they are slow, well they may be a little slow but take a look at the big picture there are only so many of them to a WHOLE apartment complex and I myself think they do a pretty good job!! I am glad when I read all the reviews that we decided to move in anyway, I would change my mind, and I think this is home for us for the next couple of years!!

Great home
I recently moved into a 3 bed townhome in Chanticleer. I have my 2 kids and mother living with me currently. I've lived in Va Beach for 5 years and this is shaping up to be one of the better neighborhoods i've lived in. All the neighbors i've met so far are really nice people and willing to help where needed. I'm a single Dad and very protective of my kids so for all those morons talking about it being a bad place, they're wrong. It's a military friendly enviroment as well. From speaking with the neighbors, the staff is fairly new and a lot of changes are going on so if it was bad before then just know things are good now and getting better. The pool is one of the nicer ones i've seen and there's a small park as well for the kids to play. It would be hard to find a better apartment complex considering 3Bd and distance from the beach as this one is.

problem after problem!
this place is awful. we have only been here for two and a half months and have figured out the office doesnt care, and the working staff couldnt care less. ive had TWO leaks, one in my ceiling and the other my AC broke. now im pretty sure i have mold in my home. the only reason they came by to fix the AC is because i threatened them with a city inspector. But now that they "fixed" it, my AC is broken, doesnt work, and its 95 degrees outside. no follow up. there are cops out here almost every night after midnight (when i get off work), there are bugs in the apartments/townhomes, the walls are paper thin, and when you look under the sinks in the upstairs bathroom you can see how little they did to make this a good quality place. cracks in ceilings, the overuse/improoper use of drywall/caulk (which they se caulk to solve every problem)our front doorknob has been broken for i dont know how long, we couldnt lock it for the longest time until my husband (not the repair people) fixed it. there was a serious leak in my kitchen that caused the whole kitchen to flood. they didnt come out to fix it even though we stated it needed to be fixed I am seriously thinking of bringing a lawsuit against them. DONT LIVE HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TIME.

Hate this place
I have lived here for 9 months, and I hate it. The office staff will tell you whatever you want to hear, but never act on it. Matinance IS improving, but it still takes a long time for them to come out and fix anything. And half of the time, its still broken after they "fix it". The roaches are everywhere and the office will deny a problum if you ask for someone to come out and spray for them. The apartment is dirty when you move in. There is never enough parking, I end up parking on the street 80% of the time. It is over priced, and from what i hear the price is just going up. Look somewhere else. The only thing i do like, is you can't here your neighbors, and it is a quiet neighborhood.

NIGHTMARE IN CHANTICLEER
IF YOU LOVE BUGS, THEN PLEASE LIVE HERE. IF YOU LOVE MOLD THEN THIS WILL BE YOUR PARADISE. IF YOU LOVE NON EXISTENT MAINTENANCE MEN AND A PROPERTY MANAGER THAT COULD GIVE A RAT'S --- ABOUT YOU THEN THIS WOULD BE THE PERFECT GETAWAY. IF YOU GO BY THE DESCRIPTION IN THE APARTMENT BOOK YOU'LL READ THERE ARE NEWLY REMODELED TOWNHOMES...--------! THESE PLACES ARE AS OLD AS THE DAY THEY WERE BUILT. THE SPARKLING SWIMMING POOL THEY ADVERTISE WAS ONLY OPEN FOR 3 WEEKS DURING THE SUMMER! THEY ONLY RE-OPENED IT FOR 2 DAYS BEFORE LABOR DAY. LARGE PETS ARE WELCOME. BECAUSE THE WATERBUGS YOU'LL FIND IN YOUR PLACE ARE RIDICULOUS!! THEY SHOULD BE PUTTING IN ON THE RENT FOR AS MANY AS YOU'LL SEE IN YOUR TOWNHOME. HOPEFULLY YOU LIKE BRUSHING YOUR TEETH WITH SMELLY WATER BECAUSE THE SMELL THAT COMES OUT OF THE FAUCET MAKES YOU NOT WANT TO LIGHT A MATCH; YOUR WHOLE HOUSE WILL GO UP IN A BLAZE OF GLORY. MY WALLS ARE ALMOST BLACK WITH THE AMOUNT OF MOLD THAT'S GROWING. I'VE GOT A LARGE HOLE IN MY ROOF THAT'S NOW OCCUPIED BY SQUIRRELS AND THE GENIUS MAINTENACE MEN FIXED IT WITH SPRAY FOAM AND STILL LEFT A GAPING HOLE IN THE ROOF. NOT ONLY DOES IT LEAK WHEN IT RAINS REALLY HARD BUT THE SQUIRRELS HAVE OPENED UP THERE OWN CLUB WITH THE AMOUNT OF SCURRYING AROUND I'M HEARING ON A DAILY BASIS. IF YOU GO TO THE MAIN OFFICE; YOU'LL GET A VACANT LOOK AND NO RESPONSE BUT "I'LL PUT IN A WORK ORDER." YOU CAN CALL, STOP BY THE OFFICE, SEND A CARRIER PIGEON, PUT AN AD IN THE PAPER NO ONE WILL COME TO LOOK AT WHATEVER PROBLEMS THERE ARE IN YOUR PLACE. AND BY A MIRACLE OF GOD A MAINTENANCE MAN COMES OVER THEY'LL DEFINITELY LEAVE THE PLACE MORE ----ED UP THAN IT WAS BEFORE THEY SHOWED THEIR SORRY ASSES UP. THIS PLACE IS THE MOST RIDUCULOUS PLACE TO LIVE IN. YOU'LL BE BETTER OFF IN A BOX LIVING UNDERNEATH AN OVERPASS ON I-264. ALL THE MONEY THEY WANT YOU TO SPEND ON RENT GETS YOU NOTHING BUT A HEADACHE AND PURE FRUSTRATION. THE ONLY TWO SELLING POINTS OF THIS RAGGEDY HELL HOLE IS THAT ITS CLOSE TO THE HILLTOP AREA AND A MILE FROM THE BEACH; BUT THAT'S ALL! THIS PLACE IS NOT WORTH THE TIME OF EVEN LOOKING AT THE AD IN ANY APARTMENT BOOK.

Stay away - MOLD ISSUE
Mold mold mold. Need I say more. I had a leak that was fixed. They never came back for any follow up. I have mold in my apartment. Had to throw everything away. I have my attorney getting involved. Stay far away from this place. They never wanna fix anything. Several neighbors have issues that are not being addressed. Gonna contact the city & the press. Tired of the BS. Management could care less. Shes never there and if she is she doesn't want to deal with any residents. Her nose is stuck too far up in the air.

Don't waste your time! I took them to court and won a lawsuit against them!!
After living at this complex for a year, my then boyfriend and I decided to sign on for another year. We got the paperwork from the front office that said our rent would raise about $25 a month if we signed a new lease, so we did. We thought it was a great deal. About 4 months after signing the new lease, the front office posted a notice on my door saying that I had 30 days to leave. When I called them to ask them what happened, they said that my rent was higher than the $25. In fact, it had gone up about $300 a month!! They never told us that!! And they waited 4 months before they told us that we weren't paying enough rent!! So I filed a lawsuit against them and after we arrived at court, the company tried to settle out of court. I didn't do that. We talked to the judge and we didn't have to pay. They had to give us money back and we were allowed to cancel our lease without paying extra! This place isn't worth the time or energy! They are horrible. I will never rent from them or there company again! Don't waste your money on this place!

Just take your money and flush it down the toilet
The girls in the office just blink at you while you tell them what is wrong with your apartment. I was honestly wondering if there was anything going on behind those eyes.... but there wasn't. I invite you to go meet with them you will understand. The apartments are 100% crap. When I was looking for apartments by the beach, Chanticleer looked very good. Then I went on here and read all about how bad it was....I thought to myself no way it could be that bad. HA-Ha I was wrong. It is so much worse. It feels like a slum... dungeon comes to mind too. It is just disgusting... You will honestly feel better about throwing your money away then living here. If you would like to find a better apartment just look elsewhere. PRG does not deserve your money, or second thoughts. I can not wait until my lease is up so I can run far far far... far away. Don't be fooled.

Look Somewhere Else
I moved to these apartments because the price was right. I really wish I had looking when I found this place. When I moved in, I was in the smaller unit 1 bedroom. A short time after I moved in I had an issue with drafty old windows in the bedroom and the bathroom and a draft from the brand new windows in the living room. It took a few weeks before they came and calked the windows to keep the air from coming in. After a month, I started to notice many bugs coming from everywhere both dead and alive. I complained to the office staff who told me that I would be put on a list for the exterminator who comes out every week. For 3 weeks in a row, the exterminator came out and there were still lots of bugs. It took for me to take pictures of the piles of dead bugs in my kitchen before they placed me in a new unit. When I finally was able to move into the new unit, it was the larger unit 1 bedroom without the fireplace. From the day that I moved into this unit, there were problems. I had a friend who is a contractor help me move and he noticed active black mold growing on my bedroom floor and wall from old water damage. The maintenance staff came out, sprayed bleach on the wall and floor, and ended up bleaching the carpet in my bedroom. I was told that the bleach should take care of the problem, it did not. A few months later during a storm, my bedroom wall started to crumble and you could see rotted wood behind the drywall. Also, there were spots of mold all over the wall. I called the maintenance staff again and I was told it was not mold but they still sprayed it with the same bleach as they did before. It took for me to call the health inspectors before my wall was replaced. No matter what size unit you have you only get 1 parking space. Your guest along with any other vehicles that reside in your home would either have to park in one of the few guest spots or on the street. The only person who works in the office that seems to care is Andy. Without her nothing would get done. She knows me by name when I walk in the office and makes me feel welcomed. The other 2 are awful. There is Jet noise but that is to be expected when you live around the corner from a Naval Air Station.

Maintenance and office staff are pretty useless here
Oh goodness. I'm not sure where to start. My husband moved here in November and I moved in mid-December. A couple days after I arrived, I noticed a leak in our downstairs ceiling after I had taken a shower. I called the office and later that day a man from maintenance showed up. He looked at it, went upstairs and looked around, came back down and said he needed to caulk it. First problem - caulk does not dry up water damage in a ceiling Second problem - the man left to get caulk and never came back My husband and I went to the office to pay our rent and to notify management in writing of the water leak (there was something in the lease about doing that)later that night and while in there we told the woman about the ceiling leak and a few other problems, including an enormous amount of drywall dust in our carpets causing us to have cold-like symptoms and bloody noses. TWO WEEKS later, after nagging the office on the phone and in person, a man came to clean our carpets. The maintenance supervisor came as well and said he would be back the next day to fix the ceiling. That was a week ago. I haven't received any phone calls or visits from him or any maintenance staff. One thing that DID happen is that the supervisor came over while we were out to replace a part in our tub that he thought was causing the leak. I told him when he let in the carpet cleaner that it was still leaking badly. Still haven't seen him again. It seems to me like they really don't care a lot about the condition of the apartments here. The preparation for our move in seems ridiculously rushed. Our carpets had paint stains and other stains, they were full of drywall, there are paint marks on everything - mirrors, kitchen appliances, lightswitch and outlet covers - it's like they didn't tape anything. Also our cable outlet(cable is a service which we are required to pay for) has been painted over and is not usable. I spoke to the maintenance supervisor about this and he said he didn't know what to do about it. The blinds on our patio doors were ridiculous looking. Some old and yellowed, some brand new and white, some too long - touching the floor and bowing out, some an okay length. Our closet doors in the master bedroom are crazy. They fall out all the time and one of them is completely broken off the track at the top. Honestly, the place is mostly livable - with the exception of the dining room ceiling. The office staff is kind and professional but it seems like they can't get anything done for you. They don't call back or check on maintenance jobs or give any confidence that the phone call they make to maintenance will actually ensure your problem being fixed. I would tell anyone looking to move to Virginia Beach to look elsewhere for well-maintained apartments. After you move in to Chanticleer, they stop caring about your needs.

Find somewhere else
Loud Jet noise. Maintenance is very poor. I could not get my AC fixed one weekend because it was not 90 degrees outside yet(so I was not an emergency). Me and my family were taking numerous baths and didn't even think about turning on the stove to cook. We'll get one day notices to park elsewhere or we will get towed by 7am because they decided to fix something.

I think my apartment is Haunted...
I think my apartment is Haunted. Ever since I moved in here strange bizzare things have been happening. I first noticed right after I moved in I was taking pictures of the place, so I could show the office the damage along with the discrepancy sheet they gave me. When I had the pictures developed I noticed a strange orb in the upper right hand corner of every picture I took. Every single one. Things took a turn for the worse after that. Every night at 1:45 AM precisely I would hear a knock on my front door, real feint at first and it would slowly get louder. I would go downstairs and look out at my front window and no one would be there. Not to mention that my wife and I have experienced what feels like a human hand brush up against our legs and arms while we have been sleeping at night. I'm in the military so I wake up extremely early to go to work and when I wake up it's still dark outside. I woke up one morning and walked in to my living room and saw the shadow of a man sitting on my couch. Frightened I switched on the light to discover that nothing was there. My wife and I one night were in the living room watching tv when we heard a thud in the bedroom. We rushed in there to find that everything had been thrown off our dresser. EVERYTHING!! We have come home numerous times and found that all of our windows open when we had shut and locked them before we left. The only reason we're staying is because we can't really afford another place. But I'm deploying here in a couple of weeks and we plan on getting another place when I get back after I saved up some money. So bottom line is if you like haunted houses, then this is the perfect place to live. Otherwise, don't even think about it!!!

Completely unprofessional
We lived here two years in one of the 1200 sq. ft. two bedroom townhouses. When we were shown prospective apartments, they were clean with great carpet, paint, etc. When we moved into our actual unit, BIG difference. The carpet was torn and stained and the walls had mystery stains all over from the previous occupants. We were told to write these down and turn them into the office, and so we did. We soon found out that every time it rained heavily the carpet in front of our french doors would be completely soaked. Put in repair orders NINE times in the two years and never got it properly fixed. At this point the carpet was molding and the baseboards were rotting. The office would always try to placate us, but never cared enough to get something done. You can hear everything through the paper thin walls and a friend of mine living here got bats in her AC unit. When we finally moved out, we were slapped with a huge charge to replace the carpeting. The same crusty, moldy carpeting that we fought to have fixed when we actually lived there. They stated pet damages. We had a bird. A small bird. The location is great, thats it. Keep looking, this place is horrid.
