When I moved in (October of 2013)I noticed that the stairs in my building (14) were extremely rusted. I asked if they were going to be painted and the answer was that "maybe in the summer (of 2014)". The neighbors are loud and they leave trash in the stairs and hallways.

Beautiful hidden complex! I love coming home - the lake is a huge bonus. My apartment layout is ideal - the closet & bathroom are amazing. My apartment faces a field - I love the privacy. The amenities are great just not always available. All in all great place to live!

My husband and are newly married, and this is our first home. We've been here for almost a year now, and are very satisfied with everything. This is a beautiful community and very well kept. It is quite and peaceful, and a very nice place to start out. Thank you for the hard work!

As my family moves often, we have had multiple experiences with apartments, as well as housing community's. That being said, I try to leave a very honest review after my departure, knowing that being a current resident, writing a review can be an emotional stand point, depending on a situation. I had lived in this community for 1 full year. I closed out my tenure back in April, 2014. During our time spent within the community, my family and I really enjoyed our stay. I have read complaints in regards to hidden charges, and will say, all charges applied are described to you, the moment you decide to move in. It is just the standard bills that most apartments give (Water, sewer, trash, gas, etc). Never once did I find a bill that seemed dishonest. The community itself is a wonderful place. The staff is always friendly, and help out whenever you need them too. Sometimes patients is requested by them, knowing some requests/emergencies take priority's over anothers. Other times, common sense needs to be taken into consideration when trying to get the attention of the staff in the office, as they can be very busy at times. The community itself is beautiful. You share your own lake with another community, which has a wonderful running trail (if your are in to that). The trail circles around the lake, and has a distance of nearly 1.5 miles (perfect for a few laps, on a good run). The cleanliness is fair, considering the allowance of pets. Although allowing dogs is a great thing, people do not always clean after there own.. It would be impossible to put 100% blame on a staff, knowing the size of the community. However, all you need to do is let the office know, and they are pretty good at staying on top of the residence, when bringing it to there attention. Not to sound horrible but having 4 children, I do not want them playing in an atmosphere where they have to continuously watch there step while playing. So yes, I had no problem complaining about someone else's neglect for an animal they chose to adopt. Lastly, I would like to add too the honesty of the community. It is extremely rare when moving out of an apartment to have your deposit actually given back. My wife is probably one of the cleanest people I have ever met, when it comes to maintaining a home, and yet most community's do everything they possible can to keep every ounce of your deposit. The Lake crest definitely stands out above others in this regard. Due to circumstances with my Job, our move requirement was pretty sudden. When reviewing the charges on our final bill, it matched everything I was completely aware of, and was clean of any added dishonest charges you would normally find upon moving out of other communities. This alone is a huge benefit, and a rarity amongst apartment communities. Those of you who have had multiple experiences with apartments, should definitely know what I am talking about. Overall I loved the community. The residence are friendly for the most part, and the staff (as stated before) is friendly, and remains professional. Parking was never a problem, as there are plenty of open spaces. If I ever were to move back to Denver, I would definitely consider moving back to the Lake crest.

This place used to be really nice but it is quickly turning into a ------. The apartments themselves are nice but the rest of the apartment complex is falling apart. Management changed hands awhile ago and since then this place is starting to fall apart

Very friendly family pet orientated. Enjoy the walk path along the lake. Also doggie trash bins all over. Pool area is well kept. The gym room is very well equipped. I also, like there is an office area where I can use a computer and printing if needed. This place even offers a theater room which I will soon take advantage with my family.I like that i have central air conditioning. I have a 3 bedroom apartment where each of my family member is satisfied with their spacious room. I also like that my apartment has a washer and dryer and not in any way of my space. I like that the apartment also has very open windows through out each room give good sun.

The leasing team is wonderful. I would refer family and friend to this community,I am very impressed with how you put in a maintance request that it is taken care of very quick. the only thing i am not happy with is the dog owners that are noting cleaning up behind their pets.

Our water heater broke on a Saturday we contacted maintenance and they came promptly,helped us and came on monday as promised to install the new one :) Over all all the maintenance needs we have had in our 2.5 years here has been great!! Thanks Lakecrest

Very quaint community, with the lake and beautiful landscape it makes it very Homey. The management is very good at keeping the residents informed on the happenings, which I appreciate their attention to detail. The staff seems to address issues quickly, i.e. dog poop, trespassers, weather etc.

The pool is nice,the surrounding ground, the pond are nice for walks. The birds that hang out in the pond are cool but I would not sign my lease again. I was pretty disappointed with the whole complex living and for the price , it's just not worth it!

I haven't lived in an apartment community since immediately after college, which was some time ago. I have been very happy with my experience at Lakecrest. My apartment is very nice. I love the study off the bedroom and the rest of the floor plan.

The apartments look very clean and nice from the outside and the lake is very beautiful, however there are some issues on the inside from possible lack of maintenance. Upon move in my fridge sounded like fireworks being shot off and a light switch keeps popping possibly from a short. The apartments look pretty decent inside however may not be worth the hefty price tag for the location.

So far it has been very pleasant. The staff is always prompt and professional; the grounds are attractive as well as the club house and pool area. The lake is a nice feature.the theater is a enjoyable feature as well. The weight room is nice and bright not stuffy I have yet to visit the pool table room.the swimming pool is large and nicely designed.

Great experience. Very nice community. Great location. Awesome amenities. The lake is very nice. The only downside is when Fall comes around, a lot, and I mean a lot, of geese and ducks come and never stop quacking. It's annoying at first, but eventually I got used to it. Other than that, it's a great community.

I enjoy living here it is close to my work. My only main problem is the parking situation. Other htan that I have had no problems. THe walls are a little thin and my neighbors up stairs are a little loud other wise I really dont hear much noise at all.

LakeCrest at Gateway Park is a wonderful community. The management and staff are fantastic, and the community buildings and grounds are well maintained. The amenities are terrific, and include a billiards room, a year-round swimming pool, and a movie room. And let's not forget the wonderful walking path around the lake, and all its myriad of waterfowl, including Canada geese, mallards, cormorants, pelicans, coots, and egrets.

Overall the community has been fine. However, maintenance requests are typically not address for several days after the request is submitted. The construction quality of the building and the quality of repairs is marginal at best. The walls and floors are thin and sound transmission has been an issue for us.

It was a very good experience, everyone was wonderful at the office. I like the landscaping, the pool, hot tub, and the place its self. No traffic noise, lots of restaurants around, easy access to the highways, minutes away from downtown, minutes away from the mall.

Don't let the lake fool you! Office staff loses packages and is unfriendly! Sounds like the upstairs neighbors will fall through the ceiling. And smoke travels through walls, so hopefully you are a smoker! During the cold winter months, we added packing tape to the door ways to prevent the cold air from coming in so much. And there are often car break ins. Garage doors can be controlled by multiple clickers. But yes, the lake is pretty. Keep in mind, it is covered with geese in the winter though...

There are around $100 in addition fees, excluding pet rent, per month. I received a noise violation letter without management doing due diligence. The office manager blamed it on a new employee. It's hard to believe that my 13 & 11 year old cats can make so much noise at night without me ever hearing it.

very poor parking, office staff does not follow through with complaints. People can break lease agreements and nothing is done to correct their actions. During the weekend the community looks like a garbage dump, people throw trash on lawns and parking lot. The weekends looks like a mechanics free for all, with people fixing cars, which is against the lease, office staff allow this to continue. Apratments are not worth the asking price. Very noisy complex

I like it here! This place is cool. I didn't really want to spend the time to type in here, but oh well. I guess you gotta do it. Wow! What a pain. I think I will type about the weather. It is nice outside. Slightly cloudy. The guys are mowing the lawn. I can here that. Hmmmm. Guess that's it!
