Great place except for the parking. People park anywhere and makes hard to maneuver around the property in the morning or at night!

Positive: The staff is nice, however, very limited. Reminders from office keeps you updated on events or inspections. Outside appearance is great. Negative: Waiting time at the front office is an inconvenience. Unfortunately, my apartment is extremely old especially for the price. Water heater broke within months I moved in and my apt flooded, odd, foul smell from the heater and AC, reminding maintenance to take care of unfinished jobs, constantly worried about your surroundings, and break-ins with mailboxes. 'Gated Community' is a joke.

Beautiful view, love the neighborhood, the people seem nice, we LOVE Vanessa and the improvements have made it way better and much more comfortable. We were disappointed the pool isn't year round when we were told as such and the parking spaces are unusually small. Overall we like it here though, mostly because of the view and Vanessa.

There could be more improvements. the mailboxes should be moved to an are that can be surveilled, sending outgoing mail is difficult when you work during the office's open hours. The parking lot has been a problem. Cars do not regularly park in parking spots near my building. Often they pull up to curbs and park there overnight, sometimes obstructing the road. There is a lack of security patrol presence. Cars should be towed for noncompliance. There is always trash laying in the landscaping near the apartment buildings. The gate is also an issue, its always out of order, slow and doesn't keep non residents out. Cars will sit in front of the gate till someone lets them in, blocking actual residents. Its a safety concern.

Our experience has been pretty bad. The apartment was nowhere near prepared an extremely dirty when we moved in, the staff gives us guilt for asking for repairs and stuff, and the neighbors are dirty and seem a bit rough around the edges. Parking is impossible, there are constant issues with the mail getting broken into and misdelivered, they lied about the pool/rec areas at move in, & about the quality of our apartment. Bugs are insane if you're anywhere lakeside, & they don't tend to the pests around the buildings very well. Not to mention the bird feces everywhere during spring and summer that never gets power washed but once a year. They've cycled through at least 10 people in the front office since we moved in less than a year ago.

So far our neighbors are great and the living space we moved into has far exceeded our expectations. We hope these next few months are as wonderful as our experience prior to moving in. We also greatly appreciate the diversity and welcoming atmosphere of Lakecrest and hope we can contribute to this community in a positive way.

It's a good enviroInment which is free from noise and swith a high security alerts. No community management was aroud on the day of our move in to offer us any assistance and welcoming pleasants to usher us into our new home. Even after our moved in, I was expecting one office personel to come over ask us about new home and the environment but no one did that. I think that is a weakness of the management.

When I first moved in i really liked the management company and staff. They would send a card on our birthday's and it felt more welcoming. The new management staff is ever changing, cold, rude and the price has become ridiculous. Residents are rarely held to the common rules, trash is constantly left in the breezeways, dogs are rarely leashed or cleaned up after at my particular building. Parking is awful and often cars are not even parking in spots but against verbs blocking the streets. The vehicles are never towed nor does it seem that any obnoxious neighbors are reprimanded for poor community behavior. It feels like the staff is more concerned in filling apts with people rather than maintaining and overseeing the community.

El servicio y atenci?n en la oficina siempre ha sido excelente, Brenda y su equipo nos atienden muy bien, los de mantenimiento tambi?n las ?reas comune no est?n limpias por qu? ls due?os de mascotas no recogen los deshechos de sus perros, en Gatewy apartaments todo el a?o la pisina esta en servicio, en Lakecrest No, no entiendo porque si es la misma administrador en los dos desarrollos. Al gym le falta equipo nuevo y mejor mantenimiento a los aparatos que est?n en uso.

Walls are paper thin. I can hear EVERYTHING my upstairs neighbors do, from going to the restroom to walking across their apartment to being in bed. Heck, I can even hear the dog run across the apartment or it's tail thumping when it's excited. I am currently looking for a new place to live.

Neighbors above me are inconsiderate and very noisy, not continually, mostly appears running inside the apartment or heavy and rough playing. Otherwise, staff tries to assist in very positive ways. Very helpful in trying to make residents comfortable.

This is the worst place I have ever lived in my entire life! Worse customer service ever, when you call for a work request they treat you like you were stupid and have never had an air conditioner or dishwasher before. They ask if you would like a phone call before maintenance entering the apartment and even if you say yes they don't bother calling before arriving at your front door. There was a dead body found in the lake by the apartments and they didn't even bother to notify residents! These apartments are dirty, if they "fix" something in the apartment they never get it right the first time or break something else while "fixing" the problem. The windows are thin, not double pane and you could hear all the noise from outside not to mention the heat coming in when it's hot or the cold draft during the winter. Moths and bugs come out of no where even though all the windows and doors are shut. The workout room is dirty, grimy and disgusting. The swimming pool water and hot tub is cloudy and dirty all the time, well I should say when it's working because half of the time it's closed. Grounds are always dirty and the staff drives right by the trash and don't even bother to pick it up. Save yourself a minimum of 8 months of misery and go live somewhere else! You will regret moving in here I guarantee it!

This is the worst experience I have ever had living anywhere. From the day I moved in the staff was terribly unhelpful and don't care about you at all. The day I moved in we walked in and our apartment was disgusting. We spent that day watching them clean our place instead of moving in. To repay us for this all they day was take 25$ off the day of rent. Consistently throughout our stay they were very off putting coming into the office asking for help whether it was maintence or with our bill. They treated us like we are idiots and should not be asking any questions or for any help with maintenance. It is also very dirty and very unsafe. There were multiple car thefts, mail box thefts, gates broken off for months, and even a dead body found in the lake next to it. They did not notify residents of any of this. We had one letter saying we could go to a meeting about car breaking happening in the lot, but never any information besides that. We also had extremely loud upstairs neighbors who would play music at 2 in the morning during the week. If it's the weekends that is fine and I can handle it, but when you are trying to sleep to get up for work at 5:30 the next morning it is not ok. When we went to ask for help on this they simply told us there was nothing we could do and would have to go through the police. Once again, did not care how our stay was. Lastly, our move out was horrible. They said we should know everything in our lease and should not be asking them for help. My roommate and I called about 10 times asking about everything we needed to do in order to move out without being charged. They said we were fine. By the time we moved out we had an extra 150$ charged on our bill because of a dish left on the apartment. This would've taken us 5 minutes to take down and we would've done that had we known we needed to take it down. We ask left one of the proxy keys in our car without knowing it. When we handed in keys they did not ask for the proxy card nor did the ask to do a walk through of our apartment. They sent us a bill with all of these charges and said it is not our fault we have these charges and if we wanted a walk through it was our job to ask. Clearly they are just out for money and greed. A very uptight staff with no moral ground. We asked many times for what we needed to make sure we needed to have done to move out and they said we were fine. When we ask for help understanding our lease or what we need to know they should be willing to help us not just shooing us away. I never write reviews for anything, but this is the worst customer service I have ever had and will never rent from a griffiths property again and will also tell everyone I know not to.

I love this community although it does get really noisy at times. The staff are great and very welcoming so far. Trimming of the trees by the walkways.Other than that lake crest is awesome well kept and the amenities are great as well. If only rental rates could drop a bit!

This community is great we love it here. If there is any issues in my unit they service it the same day, I love it. I wish there would be more lights on at night. It's nice to have it quite but some new residents don't respect that and that's hard. Other then that it great.

This place is unsafe, dangerous, dirty, and in a less than desirable area. Search different websites with reviews because as you can tell on these they range from over the top nice comments, giving a fake illusion of perfect, to the worst reviews ever. I was sexually assaulted at my front door in these apartments and the manager was extremely rude. No one should have to go through what I went through. I have a police report and the leasing office will not let me break the lease without the penalty. I'm already not living there because I am not safe there. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. In about March 2015 a dead body was found on the lake, there is about 100 plus sex offenders in the area, mailboxes have been broken into many times and that is a federal crime, the gates are broken every fee weeks, and cars get broken into constantly. Do your research I'm not lying, this place is the worst.

Everything is horrible!!! The neighbors, the property is trashed, the rude front desk staff, and definitely the rent amount we pay to live in a gated ------!! My kid has not been able to sleep in his bedroom, pest control problems. Big mistake!!!!

The apartments are huge, bright and secure, also the staff Vanessa and Miriam are very friendly and approachable and walked us through leasing process . The transition from the sale of our home to leasing our new apt was Amazing!!! Thank you Lakecrest for having us.vv

Spacious apartment a plus. Nice neighbors in building. Lots of police activity, car break ins, and kids out late at night. 2 years ago, it was pleasant with friendly staff who cared. Most staff in the office is rude, and don't seem to care about concerns. Short answers for all questions. Most office staff is rude, and uncaring.

It has been a long year staying here at Lakecrest apartments. My family and I will not be renewing our lease with Lakecrest and we are happy with the opportunity to be able to move and not have to renew our lease. Some of our friends and neighbors had a better experience and I wished we could have said the same.

It's been very nice here. Not many issues with neighbors, I like the track that goes around the lake. Not a big fan of the geese in the winter. Plenty of parking maintenance is consistently on top of things when I need them

The community is well kept and the office staff are great. Any time I've needed maintenance, they arrived in a timely manner and took care of the issue. Occasionally the front gate is open for prolonged periods of time, but the office assures us that this is being worked on.

THe service provided by the security officers was lacking. I contacted the service regarding noise. They contacted the tenants in question. However, the noise continued well after the officer made contact with the offending tenant. Another tenant contacted the officer regarding the same tenant, however, nothing was done. The service is a joke and waste of time. A new management team is required to govern this property.
