You get what you pay for

It is true that the management team is severely lacking in the customer service department and if something is wrong with your apt. it may be easier to just deal with it if not an emergency. It is a bit "------" but if you can sleep to blaring stereos and the rumble of bass go ahead. The pool is the only one in the area of this size (you can actually do laps!). My apartment was filthy when I moved in and they did nothing to amend the situation. <br>Overall it is cheap living and should be taken as such.

    Best place I've lived while in Denver

    I have been living in Denver for 10 years now and hands down this is the overall best place I have lived. The apartment staff, office, grounds and maintance are extremely freindly and are quite to handle whatever your needs maybe.

      Overall I have enjoyed this apartment very much!! I moved in about 9 months ago and haven't had any problems with anyone. I moved into the smallest apartment available, and it is still very spacious, the bathroom is huge, and the closet in the bedroom is big too. I am thinking of moving to a bigger apartment when our lease is up. The only noise I can hear is people walking through the hall and slamming their doors shut. Otherwise I don't hear anything else. I live on the top floor, however. The ladies in the front office are always very friendly and helpful, they even ate my christmas cookies ;) I haven't really dealt with the maintenance people at all, which is good, nothing breaks! But the main breaker goes off once in awhile and they are right over to reset it since it is on the outside of the building. The area that the apartments are built around is very nice. I go jogging around the lake and the path is always clean and not full of trash. I would definately recommend this apartment complex!

        Great place to live and well taken care of.

        They management here makes' sure you are taken care of along with the facilities, the ground's are kept neet and the pool is clean. I have told them of problems' and it has been taken care of immediatley. This place is really nice and comfortable to live here. I have had no problem with neighbor's or anybody breaking into my apartment. This is a great place to live. I always park within 20 yards' of my apartment.

          Better than others

          We have lived here for about 6 months. We have not had too many problems. There has only been one thing that was not the greatest when we first moved into the apartment. We thought that it could have been a little more clean but it wasn't bad except for the patio. The noise level could change a little but you find that all over the place. Overall we have been happy here. The office staff has been great and the maintenance crew has been responsive to any requested items. For people that have just moved here it has been a better experience than other places. This is why we say that it is better than others. <br> <br>Tigger

            Nice place to live

            The girls in the office are wonderful and very excited to see their resedents, it is nice and clean, my apartment was clean and ready upon moving in and has been wonderful to live here. There is plenty to do, you can go walking, or swimming, they have an excersise room and everything. The apartments are very nice and new. The staff keeps the grounds clean and neat for you. I would recomend Lakecrest to anybody.

                Decent Place to live

                We moved in a few months ago and have not had many problems. My biggest complaint is that our apartment was dirty when we moved in-plan on spending a few hours cleaning. Every single one of our maintnance requests have been addressed and fixed without a single question asked. <br>I really wish they would enforce the rules that are in the lease about trash being left around-my neighbors have had a bag of trash and 2 phone books sitting by their doors for days now. The leasing girls were all nice and helpful. Our apartment is quiet, but we are in a corner unit. When your neighbor goes into their house or up the stairs it sounds like wild animals. The grounds are well kept. I would recommend this complex to others.

                    a bunch of complainers

                    Lakecrest is a good community. It probably could be a great community if the residents would act like adults & not liter, clean up after their pets, not speed, etc. The ladies in the office are very nice. They do their best to make everyone happy, god knows that is very hard to do. All you people that have complaints...what are you complaining about, what if you owned your own home? Who would clean up the dog poop then? Who would tell your neighbors to quiet down? We are all just a bunch of spoiled brats that can´t do anything for ourselves. <br> <br>I would recommand this community to everyone!

                      The staff has been very helpful for me everytime I have a question they always have an answer right away. They are very friendly and always looking to help. Also, the Maintenance staff is wonderful, I put in a work order and they were out to fix the problem in less than 2 hours and I received a follow up call from the leasing staff to make sure that everything was alright and the problem was fixed. The complex has different activities on the weekends or at night that are great for adults and children. (movie night, pancake breakfast, snowboarding trips, barbecue´s) Overall everyone that I have worked with in the office has been a great help and I would recommend anyone live here this is a great place for a single person or a person with a family.

                        The Problem is the Renters

                        Like any apartment complex you have to learn to deal with the neighbors. The Complaints about Dog poop should not be on the shoulders of the staff but the people with dog owners. The rules are stated here and anywhere I?ve lived that, that if you have pets you must clean up after them. I´ve seen people let there dog run free when they should be on a leash and not cleaning up after them. Believe me I´ve been more then happy to report them to the staff. The Ground people do their best to clean up after the lazy owners who won´t, but maintenance shouldn?t have to do it. These people that have been complaining need to complain to their Neighbor or the staff about the problem and not this way. Complaining like this will no fix the problem.

                          We have no choice

                          We have lived here for 2 years and yeah they may look new but the are built really bad and everything is falling apart. When we first moved in our carpets were trashe with all kinds of crap you name it, its on our carpet...and they refused to change it we were told we would have to pay to live in a hotel for 3 days and move and store all of our belongins for this time also. when ya have 3 kids and are in the military u dont have money for that. The military put us here with nothing for the kids and no place to play. We hate the people who work in the office since they changed management in june of 03 and i agree it is the ------ u can hear your neighbors doors, hallway conversations and everything else...dogshit yes all over the place even right underneath my window in the rocks...take it from me its no place for your children and it make be in a gated community but cars are always getting broken into and security patrol never patrols he is too busy "gettin some" instead of doing his job of patroling...GOOD LUCK

                            Don´t do it! Or it´s your own fault!! You WILL regret it!!

                            I must STRONGLY and ABSOLUTELY agree with the two previous writers!! EVERYTHING is so horrible and crazy here, the office bi..es are so rude and dumb!! There is dog poop and trash allover- in front of your door, balcony and garage and so on, whenever your neighbour walks in the door it sounds like someone is walking into your place. Very ------! Police cars all night and stuff like that, the other day my neighbour got arrested. The people here are also very rude and ignore you. Our place hasn´t been cleaned either prior to moving in, just like one of the other guys wrote above...and they wouldn´t let us see another apt. They do definately NOT have their acts together over here and luckily we will be moving out in a few weeks!!!

                              Do Not Live Here!!

                              First off, welcome to an Oasis in the ------. DO NOT be fooled by the "new" apartments, lake, fitness center or any of the other things to draw you into this --------. It´s the ------! The women at the office are the absolute biggest ------- I have ever been around. I seriously have to take a deep breath every time I´m there, so I don´t bash any skulls. Don´t expect any help or to have anything done. My neighbors SUCK!!!!!! Seriously!!! Do not live here!!!

                                NEVER EVER-the worst nightmare!

                                The day we moved in our like they said "new" apartment was a total "--------". The renters that had lived there were absolute trashbags and Lakecrest did NOT clean up after them whatsoever! We had to stay at a hotel for more than 1 week overdue cause our apt. wasn´t ready to get moved in yet. But it was a lie cause NOTHING got done in it meanwhile!! They told us we were "----" when we asked to get it cleaned and when someone came to do it it was not done properly. I had to clean up other peoples toothpaste and urine stains just to name a few...it has been the worst nightmare, they are so uncooperative and unfriendly-unprofessional here, do NOT waste your time there! Outside is dogsh...t everywhere and so on...
