I really enjoy living in Altis Kendall Square. I cant wait for the fob system. The only negative was the pool was greenish on sunday and the TV's were not working. Also I hope with the FOB system the hours of being able to use the pool are more flexible.

Excellent place to live and if you have small children the place is perfect for them and for you as a family. The house club is very complete as a Gim and a play area for kids and adults.the location is perfect for a family because it has schools, supermarkets and playgrounds near by.

Staff is great and willing to help with any questions or concerns. From the display of the model apartments to moving in was a great smooth experience. Friends and family who visit always have great things to say about the complex on how beautiful it is etc. The club house and pool area have great parties during holiday seasons and movie nights and pool parties. Overall this is complex is great. My first apartment I moved into with my girlfriend who then became my fianc? then wife mother of two kids we have no complaints.

Beautiful apartments, but there not much to do around. Since they're still building houses and apartments around, it can get pretty hectic, especially with parking. The pool area, gym, and main lobby are great! Pet friendly, and family friendly.

Julie and I are very happy in our new apartment at Altis of Kendall Square. We moved from.North Miami Beach. Julie wanted to move here to.be closer to her children. I was very skeptical about moving so far west. On my first visit to Altis I found myself with a completely different attitude towards moving here. I found myself more motivated to mive here than my wife julie. We are both estactic about our new home and our community.

I have had several noise complaints of neighbors around me within one week. Neighbors next door had a dog bark until 1am. Upstairs neighbors are incredibly loud. I can hear walking, running, screaming, talking, and there are multiples of cars at this address as well.

Everything is nice and new. Grounds are kept nice. Amenities are great. Clubhouse will be perfect once the gym is accessible off hours instead of when the leasing office is open. Pet friendly neighborhood with great walking areas and dog waste drops located everywhere.

With it being public parking sometimes it is hard to find parking at my building because people have friends over and they take the spots or people from the other living areas use our parking because they don't have extra. It's very inconvenient when we pay so much why can't we at least have 1 parking spot held for the apartment.

The actual apartment itself is nice, however, the amenities are almost never open or somehow out of order. The staff only opens the pool, fitness center, and clubhouse during their office hours (i.e. NOT ON HOLIDAYS or past 5/6 on the weekends!) you know, when you actually have time to use this stuff when you're a normal adult with a job. Most of this place still isn't finished being build yet so you still can't use things like the outdoor kitchen, fire pit, ect. and there is NO telling when these things will be done. To give you an example: we moved in in May of 2015 and in Feb 2015 we were told that our potential building we were supposed to live in and the pool/clubhouse would be done in April and it wasn't completed until August! I received a phone call from Altis about a week before our move in date telling us that our building hadn't been completed yet and we would have to be in a different unit. We had to change all of our addresses again as well as the addresses we had given to moving companies and furniture stores for deliveries. I understand there are delays in construction, however, a little more than a weeks notice would have been nice especially because we kept asking them if we were 100% a-go for this address because were using it for everything as far as shipping. The walls are paper thin, I hear my neighbors sneeze. It's ridiculous. The location makes it really far from everything (there is good and bad to that) and the fact that Krome is under construction right now has turned it into a nightmare to travel in literally any direction during rush hour. I know that once Krome is finished it will not be as bad, but that is probably at least a year or more away. Another complaint is the storage unit I rent there is filled with mold. There is literally green mold growing on my stuff in there and I had to throw most of everything in there away because it's ruined. The mold is caused by a bad bug sweep in the door letting grass and rain inside of the unit, the moisture combined with the grass and darkness of the room is a breeding ground for mold the association has done nothing about it. Several service calls have been needed to fix bad seals in the shower, gaps in the grout (which is going to lead to more mold inside for YOU, the future tenant), a leaking kitchen faucet, and a light switch that still has not been fixed. These are all things that a new building may have, but are the result of cheep hardware and poor craftsmanship. Parking is an issue because the people with garages do not use their garages and park in the spots that the 3rd floor residents need resulting in having to park 1 or 2 buildings away form yours. Maybe I'm being a Premadonna about this but it's hard justifying what I'm really paying so much for here at this place. And when its pouring down rain and you have groceries to carry in... you get it. Overall, the place is nice because it's NEW right now but it is not build to quality standards by any means, so don't be fooled. My biggest gripe about the place is the lack of organization with management and the developer. For the ridiculously high price in rent here you can find a place with much nicer and actually available amenities, better quality buildings, and a place where you do not have to battle mold. Typically, you get what you pay for, but I honestly cannot say that about Altis at Kendall Square. They are overpriced for what you are getting. p.s. Suggestion for the community: make it so you can turn left (west) out of the community exit to get to Krome, it's everyones complaint here.. It's the little things..

I moved to Miami from frigid Minnesota (I almost feel guilty sitting by the pool in my flip flops!!). Having never lived in Miami I researched safe areas in proximity daily amenities and social places I would frequent. After settling in on West Kendall I found six apartments of interest. Thank goodness Altis was the first I visited. The moment I walked in the door I knew I was home. The only thing more impressive than the staff was the beautiful building and amenities.

I have lived al Altis for near two years. I love the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. When you have maintenance issues they respond real quick and get the job done well for you. The common areas are very lush and well maintained. I love to walk my dogs at night because it is safe and well lit. Everything is impecable and dog friendly.

This property is very pleasant. However, I do wish I could go to the gym in the morning and access the pool area. Since I work during the day, it makes it difficult to use these amenities. The parking could also be a little closer, since sometimes people take the closest spaces on 170 PL, which is a side road, and we live on the 3rd floor in the corner.
