Great location, but poorly built
We have lived here for five months, while waiting for our house to be built. The apartment we rent is HUGE, 1800 sq feet of living space. However, the apartment leaked a LOT during the rains even before the hurricanes of 2004. Our apartment is on the second floor, with no-one above us. Therefore we have cathedral ceilings. Our electric bills are OUTRAGEOUS. Over $200 a month. The AC units are just not large enough for the apartments, so they run continuously, day and night. For example, if we left the thermostat at 82 degrees while we were at work and turned it down to 78 when we got home at 5:30, the temperature would only be down to 81 degrees three hours later. The AC would run the entire night.
