The community has a lot of potential to be great. The floor plan/community/pricing itself is amazing but you can tell the budget the staff is working with is small and cheap. Bath tub mold is painted over with the cheapest paint that flakes 3 months in. The base boards aren't sealed so your home does get infested easily no matter how clean you are. The community mail box is literally right next to the dumpster.. Which they must give a raise to whoever genius came up with the idea of providing the perfect view of trash and stench all while you get your mail. Brownie points to whoever even during the renovation process decided to keep it there instead or relocating it .

Management the best we have had since I moved in. Maintenance staff are excellent. Location is very good for public transportation- wish the gates worked- would feel safer if so. Need more courtesy officers monitoring the community

It was fairly smooth in the beginning of moving in and pretty easy to do, getting electric set up was a process in itself but was also easy to set up. How to pay for water when the time comes is unknown and I didn’t get any information on it. The apartment looks very nice on the inside but there’s obviously been many shortcuts to fixing the apartment that you wouldn’t be able to figure out until you’ve lived there for a few months. It’s my first apartment so I can’t complain too much and it’s a beautiful first apartment for me but in general I’m dissatisfied with the way things are set up. Overall it’s more positive than negative living here.

I really love the staff at the Harrison, the area is great and I really enjoy the amenities within the community. This is my second year leasing here. My first apartment was great and had no issues, when I renewed my lease and transferred to a bigger apartment, I was just given a really bad unit with lots of issues. Problems ranging from black mold in the vents to the AC not working, to bugs getting in the apartment even after extermination.

Move-in was quick and easy, but responsiveness to maintenance issues is slow and frustrating. Have had to take care of some pests and bugs ourselves since our neighbors have a roach issue that isn’t being addressed, and the trash valet service often means residents just leave trash out all the time. Could be run with a little more eye toward cleanliness.

DO NOT MOVE HERE
If you want to pay $1500+ for a roach infested , unsafe , motel 6 environment this is the place for you. Gates are never working , power goes out often and the best part is your vehicle will be damaged. Don’t look for the leasing office to review the camera footage either because they’ll advise there aren’t any cameras when they’re quite obvious. Good luck

Great place to live. Maintenance staff efficiently handles requests and strives for customer satisfaction. Very pleased overall. I highly recommend it because they always keep their facilities in optimal condition, plus Maria and Nia are excellent people and very friendly

Love the staff, great neighborhood, surrounded by a lot of the best stores, and the maintenance staff is amazing. Been here since 2018. I would recommend you look into this property. Also very close to 285 exit and good community for a family.

Love the staff here, they are friendly and very responsive. Anytime I have needed something or when I submit a service request, it is always given immediate attention. I would like to see more signage of speed limits or bigger speed bumps to protect the kids that live in the community..

Experience good but neighbors are loud at times (no fault of the property). Overall the experience for the past couple of weeks living here have been pleasant. I like the size of the unit and the accessibility to any stores in the area.

Gated community, swimming pool, fitness, package and mailing center. Been here for 3 months. Quiet community. Safe. Staff is very professional and helpful. Like being here. Notifications provided by office via email/text as needed. Communication is very good.

The communal staircase and corridor areas need to be maintained regularly. They are full of stains and cobwebs. It would help if the stairs and corridors were maintained as well as the overall apartment grounds. The garbage area near the mailboxes is sometimes unkempt, full of big furniture items that have been dumped. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Thanks

terrible the people in the leasing office are very rude maintenance takes WEEKS to come service you all the apartments have a roach problem and the tub is always chipping off and looks terrible i would never tell anyone to come leave here

Literally falling apart
Former tenant here and don't do it. It's April 2023 and this place is literally falling apart. The paint is uneven, the floor is uneven, it's dirty and dusty, the renovations were done sloppily. You can really do so much better. That security deposit? Gone. Reservation fee? Gone. They have charges out the wahoo, it's just terrible. No one in the leasing office has a clue and then they have an attitude about not having a clue. The property manager has the worst attitude and a smart mouth. Just save yourself and your money. You're not that desperate to live here.

They charge you for services they can't provide. If you aren't home between 5 and 7pm like most ppl working, you can't use trash services. They have lockers for package delivery but it isn't enforced. So packages are left in the mail room for anyone to grab. Speed bumps are frequent, small, and sideways so no small how slow you go, your suspension will be ----ed. Gates aren't ever working.

Not being able to see unit prior to giving money or moving in.. lack of communication. On arrival of move in was told unit was not ready and had to take a unit that needed work and was not cleaned. Had to switch services at last minute and pay my movers overtime.. my move in was a nightmare.

I have not enjoyed my time here. The community has great potential, but definitely falls well short. The grounds near my apartment have litter and dog poop all over. I put in a complaint about the litter but nothing was ever done. The dumpster is always overflowing and the mail box area is often a mess. There are frequently people doing donuts in the parking lot next to my apartment. I have complained about it several times and was told to contact the police in the future. The community is advertised as being gated, but the gate rarely works. As to the apartment interior, there are many areas that fall well short of the luxury this community is charging for. The paint along the baseboards is sloppy and often on the wall paint. The dog chewed door frame was just painted over. The board itself was not repaired. The faucet in the bathtub is not flush with the wall. It protrudes about an inch. It looks like they tried to fill in the gap with caulk, but it is unsightly. The sliding closet door in the bedroom does not have a bottom track so the doors are prone to moving out of place and never shut correctly.

The Harrison was fine until we moved in- we moved in to an apartment with multiple broken appliances (microwave, bathroom drawers, and washing machine), after a week the fridge was broken.. now I have been waiting days from my toilet to be fixed (it’s been leaking this whole time). Maintenance will completely disregard your privacy and enter your apartment with no notice… and bringing up any of these issues will result in leasing/maintenance ignoring your broken appliances (see - toilet). Also, there’s roaches.

The staff is not friendly and does not show empathy when issues arise. When speaking to the female with the locks, it seems like she’s never in a good mood. My shower has never work properly and maintenance have come numerous time ms. They even had a plumber come out just to tell me how old the plumbing is and only temporary fixes will do.

I really have a problem with how the apartment complex is run. From the leasing office being closed all the time to them basically posing as the US postal service in the leasing office. What if a current resident got a check in the mail to pay their rent, and the leasing office is closed. therefore they won’t. be able to pay their rent? I think this place is a joke and cannot wait until my lease is up

During my stay at The Harrison apartment complex I have not had many reasons to complain. The hardest part was the application process due to the leasing agent I had at the time but the one who took over, Nia, did an amazing job. The appliances are nice and the rooms are pretty spacious. As this being my first apartment I would recommend it to others looking to move out for the first time.
