Living here is a nightmare. There is roaches everywhere, mold and trash infested. There is loud parties all time. My car has been broken into several time. Gun shots are the norm. Everything in apartments falls apart. OOnce you're in they won't let you get out of the lease so be careful.

They have gates to enter and exit but they are no good when several cars are getting in without being let in because of long wait times to close one open. Maintenance does not respect tenants complaints about what's wrong in the residence and need to be fixed. The staff lies about making sure your safety complaint is handled. No security cameras anywhere to protect the renters. They will send several reminders of rent starting on the 20th of the previous month until the 3rd of the month it's due. But they won't send it notices about errors and things that needed to be told to protect the residence.

Overall this is a great place but the only problem is the property manger has to listen to residents problem & try to help fix it no matter what. I have no issues but i just want the carpets removed for my one year old son. Hes really allergic please so i am really looking forward for a positive response

So far Ive been here for a month I love it so far. They repainted the hallways and cleaned it so it is so much better. There is a pole missing on my building that isnt fixed yet but overall it has been a very good experience. Everyone is friendly.

The grounds of the complex could be kept up better. Buts on residents, not the staff. I really appreciate how communicative the community is with updates that pertain to our apartments. The mail box could use some up keep but with the trees bugs and such are bound to come.

The other tenants are nice, and overall it is a decent complex. Completely over priced to say the least. Its the minor things that create the ill feelings towards living here. Pest are so unsanitary and there is a flea problem in the backyard.

The Harrisons new management is amazing. Martin is the best leasing agent. Hes helpful and actually answers the phone. A lot of apartments dont communicate the way they the Harrison does. The property is always being cleaned and the workers are active from 9am-6pm. Awesome start.

I am very disappointed in this community-the residence keep it so filthy dirty and dog owners do not clean up after their dogs-the community keeps feeding the cats which is a big problem and the garbage is out of control. Im very disappointed in my living conditions and I am ashamed to bring anyone over to visit me! Im so sorry I renewed my lease Im very embarrassed by the animal odors and the garbage smell!

We recently moved into this apartment and no one walked in with us. The apartment is not ready with internet and it was not communicated properly. There is a rat in the kitchen, despite the complaints from three weeks, no resolution was taken.

Well I was supposed to move in December 2020 however they kept telling me the apartment needed deep cleaning due to COVID however they moved me in to 49h and I had no working bathrooms than they moved me to an hotel until they could find me another apartment from December 19th till December 31 so much has happen from Karen getting a moving company which was a fly by night company that stole a lot of furniture from me and personal belongings that this move has been the nightmare from hell to say the lease every month that I have been here has been hell every month I just want one month of relaxation and free of problems just one month free of problems

These apartments are old. Theyve put things in to update them, but theyre low quality. The upgraded locks and thermostat are nice, but there is a big bug problem and the floors shake due to the construction on the 285.

My experience since I been here has been pretty good . I do have problems with the hallways keep up and the keep up of the outside of our building will be better . My experience has been peaceful and calm . The staff here is very nice . Some things can improve but I know it will in due time

Moved into the apartment within the first month had to request maintenance over 5 time and our apartment flooded and had leaks in the felling that they said they could not fix. We also had to pay the full amount of the rent with all these issues. Then when talking to the team up front they sounded like they wanted us to move rather then help resolve any issues. Does not feel like home. Worst apartment experience.

Roaches are a major problem here at this property. Staff does not answer the phones when you call the office. They could be busy , sure. Or under staffed. Either way it's not fair. Maintanance repairs are only bandaid for how luxurious the website claims the property to be. It's not fair. Rent is too high for this property.

The only problem is my new neighbor from top is super noisy at 2 or 3 am music,crying,fighting,cursing our asses these apartments were perfect before she came i think its our last year here but other than that its a perfect place to live!!

Location is great but there isnt a lot of upkeep from what Ive seen. Maintenance people never wear masks. The mailbox in the back constantly smells horrible. There are usually stray cats. Bugs! Overall lease wont be renewed and cant wait for it to end.

I am giving Five Star Ratings because Harrison/Venterra Apts works in conjunction with Hope Atlanta to assist Homeless Veterans a second chance in a Beautiful Apartment. Harrison/Venterra Apts works tirelessly to keep grounds maintained, so my only concern would be for those who leave their cigarette butts, beer bottles, dog poop etc... please just pick it up and dispose of in the many trash receptacles that are all around the grounds. Rather than being part of the problem, I try to be part of the solution and will put on a pair a gloves and help to maintain the grounds. Some may say that's crazy, especially during the Pandemic, but I am hoping being considerate of Harrison/Venterra attempts to make sure OUR community doesn't feel like a House but a Home... If all just pick up then it's not so much for just one or two to clean up. :D Thank you to Hope Atlanta, and Special Thank you for Leasing Office Karen, who also did YouTube of Harrison Apts (The Two Bedroom Units)... Karen really worked with Hope Atlanta and with me.

An average community. It's gotten better since being bought by Venterra Community at least. Now people answer phones and small maintenance requests are taken care of. They send us emails way too often but it's mostly for events or notices.

It's pretty quiet here which I like. Some of the staff are nice, but the other half isn't. Some staff givea too much additude. Maintenance is decent. They pretty nice and fast on certain maintenance request. Managers don't return phone calls. I do like the size of the apartment. I would have to say the clean on my move in wasn't the best. It could have been better.

Living in this community was terrible. Maintenance requests that were urgent, related to not having hot water (took 4 days to respond), problems with the shower, air conditioning, toilet, lock broken on back door were so long for a response. It was unsafe and uncomfortable living there. The rules and fees for violations were astronomical (trash removal). Not everyone's schedule accommodates for the timing of taking the bins in.

Im starting to hate it here. Very unprofessional, very slow, poor communication, etc. I was not expecting to be having issues with MOLD in my apartment. The maintenance man has tried to convince me that its mildew but ITS NOT. As soon as you touch the ceiling in my bathroom the ---- instantly crumbles out of the ceiling. Not to mention its black spores on my ceiling and mildew can be cleaned. 0/10 seriously. Its only been 4 months and Im thinking about breaking my lease.

There are too many roaches, loud neighbors, junk on the common areas. Also maintenance is terrible here. They into a you with the new renovations but fail to mention that before renovating, the complex was filled with rodents they did not properly exterminate.

Do not live here. Literally the only thing it has going for it is the location. The prices are now too high to even justify living in a place like this. Staff and maintenance ignore serious maintenance issues, there is a sever feral cat problem, and there are roaches EVERYWHERE.

I have been a resident for a month now and Im satisfied with the professionalism and friendly staff. But I already had to submit many maintenance requests that havent been fulfilled yet. Also, the exterior of these apartments should be renovated because the hallways and stairs are old and not too safe. The roads are a little bumpy and theres a deep pot hole at the entrance. It would be nice to have a more secure gate as well.
