I am furious. This management doesn't care about you. They don't care about your environment. I've had electrical outlets explode and multiple calls with failures to repair. I've even had electrical bill surges because of the horrible electrical. As soon as our lease was about to end my wife and I just had a baby and were cleaning to get ready to move. I also had a two day work trip so my wife, who is healing and we live second story (it was also freezing weather), could only put the trash outside the door until I got home. They fined me $50, no warning. I called to plead due to harsh financial issues for our move and newborn - sought understanding, they didn't care. They are rude, they are money hungry, and again, they do NOT care about you, your living situation, and they will find ANY excuse to fine you. STAY AWAY! NOT WORTH ANY SAVINGS OR CONVENIENCE YOU SEE.

From an appearance standpoint, the community seems to be perfect, however, Timberlinks consistently finds ways to scam residents out of money. Since I have been living here, there have been so many different pricing changes. The rent prices are also misleading, because they wait to tell you about the additional $100 a month you will have to pay in Timberlinks "fees". The experience is not worth the price, I'm sure potential residents can find more for their money elsewhere.

I have lived at the Timberlinks for a little over a year and I have absolutly loves it. The office staff are all very friendly and helpful and the property is kept up very nicely. The apartmemts themselves are very specious and the layouts are all very nice and open.

I have lived here for two years now and love it. I feel safe at night, the staff is great, and it's very peaceful as well as friendly. The maintenance staff is always prompt and helpful. The amenities are wonderful; the pool is nice, the printing station is convenient, the multipurpose room is great for when I have small gatherings during business hours, and my dog loves the dog park.

I moved into the property in April 2017 and have enjoyed it so far. The newly renovated apartments are nice with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Overall the space works very well for me. There is a ton of closet space in my two bedrooms - 5 closets to be exact with two walk-ins. I guess that makes up for no exterior storage like most apartments. I've had a few minor maintenance issues and all have been fixed within 24 hours by a very courteous maintenance staff. All of the office staff are very friendly and professional. The grounds are kept clean, but they could spruce up the landscaping a bit. I hear they are going to be doing that in the future and it's definitely needed. So far it's been a very quiet community, very close to everything, but a little secluded on a 9-hole golf course. If you golf, you can't beat their deal - $50 a month for unlimited golf and cart. The workout room is also very spacious and well equipped. The pool area is very large, spacious and well appointed. Overall I've enjoyed living here so far and would recommend!

Terrible. Dishonest office staff. Overpriced apartment in general. Get everything in writing - don't worry about how awkward or inconvenient it may be - do it. They lie, lie, lie, to get you to sign the lease, then they absolutely maul you with fees when you move out. I was charged a $150 heavy cleaning fee, because of a few crumbs that were missed when we were moving out. Literally crumbs - absolutely no hyperbole here. What constitutes a light cleaning fee then? I wonder how much are people charged when they ACTUALLY trash the place... (How much do you pay your cleaners? Because I was charged $150 for what had have been no more than 4 seconds of work. At that rate, that is $135,000.00 per hour! Are yall hiring cleaners right now? I would love that salary!) Roaches. Roaches everywhere. Like others have said, the TV/internet set up here is an absolute joke. This isn't a college apartment community, so why treat it that way in regard to internet/TV? The internet provider is some off-brand company with absolutely atrocious service. Is this the worst community? No. Can you find better for the price?? ABSOLUTELY!!! Do not settle for this place. EDIT: website won't let me respond - So I'm writing it here. Indeed you keep the photos - that's how I know what my charge was for. I was thoroughly confused at first, so believe me, I asked your staff once I was hit with that bill, and they showed me the crumbs on the counter. I paid it though. My word vs yours, and I had waaay more to lose in that situation - - Didn't want it to turn into additional inconvenience late fee or some other bogus charge that you could then put on my credit. However, I will delete this review if you hire me on with your cleaning crew! $135,000.00 per hour = nearly $281M a yr! That is Powerball money! Please sign me up! I still want to know what constitutes a "Light Cleaning Fee", and how much do you charge people that really do need a real heavy cleaning? If it costs a prorated 135,000.00 per hour to wipe crumbs off a counter, then people who really trash the place must be paying millions. I am in the wrong business.

I lived at Timberlinks at Denton for 10 months. I enjoyed the peace and quiet of being a little ways outside town and the views of the golf course. Newly remodeled apartment with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, white cabinets and wood tile flooring in the kitchen, already installed washer and dryer. Only downside was no storage in the bathroom (sink only, no bathroom counter) and kitchen countertops were very low (for being 5'11"). I would recommend living at Timberlinks.

This apartment community is absolutely awful. I waited on maintenance to fix an issue in my apartment for almost 5 months. They also won't tell you when signing your lease that their is a huge county dump right behind the apartment that you can smell on any given day the wind blows which is often as this apartment community is situated on top of a hill. The management is garbage and treats its tenants like school children often times talking down to them. They also only have one mandatory provider for phone, TV, and internet. The only one you can use is called Access Media 3 and their service is awful. They throttle your internet speed by using a NAT'ed network so you cannot get a public IP and often times can't even browse the web. I would not recommend living here to my worst enemy as management is absolutely awful and I have had nothing but a nightmare experience since I moved in. Also, the amenities (Hot tub, Grill, Fitness Center) at this complex are constantly broken or locked so you cannot gain access to them. When describing these issues to management they seemed surprised that I expected them to actual be working as if I am not paying for them to be in service and usable. Bottom line: No, I would not recommend living here until the issues I have stated above have been corrected however, it does not appear to have a solution coming anytime soon as this is a toxic place to live that will retaliate against the tenant upon receiving a complaint about their lacking efforts to provide the services you pay for.

Timberlinks is my first regular apartment since i have moved here from Iowa . I lived in a student community solely due to the price upon moving here and the experiece was aweful. Timberlinks is first and foremost a true community. The neighbors are friendly and staff looks out after its community with pride. Upon moving in we did experience some electrical difficulties with the dryer, however. Cedric and Carrol were diligent in taking care of our laundry needs promptly. There will always be things that are out of a communitys' control such as the citys' mess they leave upon emptying the dumpsters, however there is little the community can do about such things. Still yet they come prepared and clean up after the dump trucks almost like clockwork. They are one of the only communities left in Denton that still allows dogs up to 75 lbs and provide a large onsite dog park that is necessary for our pet to burn off his energy. I would say thay though I understand many reasons why Huskies and German shepherds have slowly been added to the breed restrictions list. Timberlinks is still one of the few communities that allow these breeds with exceptional accomidations to suit their needs.

The positive reviews sound like a commercial very scripted , if you get what I'm saying ...... I lived here back in 2013 and it was horrible . Major electrical problems, my lights would flicker all the time , the ceiling fans stopped working , the switch to control the garbage disposal only worked half the time . My toilet pipe busted one night . My daughter was 1 at the time and I found a scorpion in her toy box , I found one about once a month after that . I went through 4 tv boxes, every time the power would go out the box would fry . ( yes it was plugged into a serg protector ) so we didn't have tv a lot . But the worse thing was the ac , I called it in and called it in over and over again and maintancee told me the ac wasn't capable of getting my apartment below 80 degrees in the summer and that I should go buy black out curtains . They were also really rude about it , they acted like I was a nussance. It got so bad that at midnight my thermostat would still say it was 85 degrees . Also my apartment looked nothing like the model , miss matched carpet , water damaged cabnits , tile so old the pattern was faded off ...

First and foremost, do not fall for the overzealous positive reviews of this complex. Lift the veil from over your eyes and realize that the management is more than capable of writing their own reviews, and it is not below them to do so. It is a business and they want it to thrive; they will do what it takes. With that being said I will say I absolutely abhorred this apartment community. Having lived in numerous locations around Denton over the past eight years, I have to say the Timberlinks "Luxury" apartment homes were by far my worst experience thus far. If you enjoy having to call pest control once weekly to take care of insects such as roaches and water bugs crawling around your entire apartment, this may be just the spot for you. I am an obsessive and compulsive clean freak and this place had me shaking in anger over the pest problems that I complained numerous times about. When I would alert the management I would receive zero response, just a note in my kitchen a few days later from an exterminator claiming they had thoroughly sprayed the apartment down with "eco-friendly" insecticide. Beyond the pest issue, the golf course is nothing more than a marketing farce to make the complex seem as if it offers a true luxury atmosphere. The fact is that if you want luxury, you pay for luxury. This complex is competitively priced with all others in the surrounding area and therefore offers no more "luxury" than other apartment you might find. Also might I add that the golfers most definitely will get in your way upon entering and exiting the property. Furthermore, a key factor one should consider is the location. I do understand the complex is near an elementary, so if you have a young family I understand that convenience factor. Otherwise be aware the property is parked just south (literally about 200 yards) of the Denton City Dump which expels noxious fumes regularly. Nothing better than walking out to your car on a Monday morning to the smell of decaying waste. If it could not get any worse, beware of the intersection at Edwards and Mayhill. You will spend numerous mornings at this intersection patiently waiting for the DCTA train to pass which will inevitably make you late for work or school at least a few times. Finally, that super attractive low security deposit may as well be gone for good as soon as you hand it over. Cleaning charges when you leave will total well over $100.00 leaving you with a wonderful account balance to pay back with the threat of being turned in to a collections agency if the balanced is not taken care of within 14 days of notice. One more thing, go ahead and look up the company "Access Media 3". They will be your cable and internet provider regardless of what you may prefer otherwise to have. Best of luck!

I love living at Timberlinks. The open floor plan is amazing. Tiffany, Paul and Alaina in the front office are awesome and help with repairs if I need them. They go above and beyond to help their residents. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. There is even a dog park on the property! This is a fun but calm neighborhood. I love how close it is to I-35 and Loop 288 but far enough back that you never hear traffic. I would recommend this location to any of my friends.

Alaina, Paul, and Jason in the office are fantastic! They are always happy and polite! Very personable people! These apartments are clean quiet and I've very much enjoyed living here! The office and maintenance are very quick to respond to any problems or concerns you may have! Unlike other places I've lived you actually have privacy here... they don't knock on your door and bother you which is nice. Great people working here great place to live!

I lived at this property for several years and the staff was helpful when I needed them. The maintenance staff, were always timely to fix things. I needed to move to a new community to be closer to work, and was a little nervous about what charges I might have to pay at move-out, since I had lived there for longer than most residents. I made an appointment with Jason, to go over my charges and while I didn't really want to pay them, I do feel he explained clearly why I owed them. I've been really happy to call this place home and would recommend it to other people.

This was an apartment that I originally really liked, specious enough, however the staff that works there is borderline -------- and rude, basically because of the Maintenance and Staff i had to take stars off other groups, literally just the worst.

I have moved from Mexico to Denton for work. Finding an apartment was very stressful for me since I was in Mexico looking online. What I really like about Timberlinks Administration is that you can apply online, even sign all the papers on line. Obviously, the best help was from Tiffany and Alaina who helped me a lot during this journey. They follow up very close my application and solved all my doubts. I do ask them to be there when I arrived, and they helped me even on a week end.

Office help are short, rude, and make uncalled for comments. Everything seems to be inconvenient for them once they get you moved in. Even package deliveries seem to overwhelm them. Professionalism lacking in their treatment of residents. They mow alot, but only flowers are planted only at the office front area. Maintenance people are kind, hard workers, and get to you quickly. The neighbors are friendly and quiet.

Worst place to ever live in! Pictures not accurate and after you leave they send a bill for nearly $700 with all these hidden fees. I will never and would not recommend this place to anyone! If you are thinking of moving in walk away while you can. This place down right sucks and ownership is worse.

I have been a resident at Timberlinks apartments since April 2016. The agents in the leasing office have been nothing but kind and helpful. Overall, my experience living at Timberlinks has been nothing short of fantastic.

One star, because of the internet company they force you to use. A complete joke. The internet company mistakenly sent me to collections for no reason. Temporarily ruining my credit while the issue was getting worked out. Complete BS. Let your residents choose a reputable company please.

I am absolutely shocked at the 1 star reviews! I can only conclude that the people giving Timberlinks such horrible reviews have never truly stayed in a 1 star worthy complex. I recently moved from a terrible living situation and The staff at Timberlinks did all they could to help me! Even staying open a little later due to my work situation to ensure I got my key for move in! I have never gotten so many compliments on my apartment. I read a couple reviews complaining about the cable and Internet I have yet to have any problems with either and the fact that you get the choice package as a complimentary amentie is absolutely wonderful. The complex it's self is quite and you just get the feeling of safety. I have actually seen at spoken with the onsite officer and his wife while they were patrolling the grounds, and they are the sweetest! I was having some problems with my washer machine it was making lound noises when in use, so I decided to put out a maintenance request. They were out the next morning to check it out, they wound up ordering me a brand new washer and installed it the following morning. The maintence staff were nice and respectful the entire time. All I can say is Timberlinks is by far the best Apts I've lived at I keep searching for nicer and there just isn't any.
