Luxury? Are you kidding?

This place was a gorgeous view to my roommate and I.. they sold us on the apartment and its amenities and we were moving in 2 weeks later.. Excited quickly turned to disgusted.. The quality went downhill everyday I lived there. My lease was only 8months thank god. The staff SUCKED! Within a month of living there they got ride of the security guards at the front.. which we were still paying for! The maintenance is slow at getting back to you and the parking was ridiculous. Id get home from work about 8 o'clock and would have to park on the other side of the complex. My roommate and I HATED living here and would NEVER do it again.

    Wonderful!

    This property was by far the best property I have ever lived at. Friendly staff and concierge services provided. I loved that my dog could be walked and fed while I was away from home, and to pay $0.00 for that service, WOW! The best customer service that I have ever seen. Even the apartment community itself is beautiful, so luxurious, you really are treated like royalty when you are here. Now give or take there were always be staff changes at any apartment community, I have lived here for almost 2 years and thoroughly love it and the staff that has been here almost the same amount of time!

      Paying for the Good Life... Without Any of the Good Stuff

      Where is the 'luxury' that I'm paying a luxury price for? ***UPDATE*** NO MORE CABLE TV IN FITNESS CENTER!! I was drawn in to this luxury apartment complex- after all, it's new, it's beautiful, and it's full of amenities (of course, you pay a non-refundable amenities charge of $200 upon signing your lease). At least... it WAS full of amenities. A big reason that I- a single female- chose Vintage Park was for the 24 hour guard at the gated entrance. A few months into my lease, I received a letter on my door stating that, due to RESIDENTS' COMPLAINTS, they were doing away with the gate guard. I was very upset and attempted to contact the staff about this. They ignored my attempts at communication, until one day I was able to keep an "assistant manager" on the line long enough to hear my complaint and plea to keep the guard. She assured me that they were replacing the guard with two real live police officers to patrol the complex. So, undoubtedly, they were actually increasing security for me. Two days later, I came out to my car in the morning and found a flyer taped to the window of my car. Horrified, I looked up and realized that, during the night, someone had taped a flyer to EVERY SINGLE CAR IN THE PARKING LOT. I guess the two patrol officers missed that. (Which makes me confident they would not see a real crime- like someone breaking into my car or physically assaulting someone in that same parking lot.) I again called the same assistant manager, who explained that she didn't know when or if a policeman was actually on duty... or when he would actually start... She then went on to explain that the officers wouldn't actually patrol the parking lot and that the officers are not there for MY safety. They're there for the safety of the apartment complex and would be patrolling the pool and workout facility for vandals. She then reminded me that I "live in the big city now"... (Yes, this is Cypress we're talking about)... and that she lived in an apartment complex once where a single female was murdered and I need to learn to "watch my back." Long story short... no more security guard. The hot tub hasn't worked all winter. Two out of three ellipticals in the gym are broken. The theatre can't play movies. And my heater was out for a week and a half (~that translates to shivering through sleepless nights, a terrible cold, and a sick day taken from work~) before someone came to fix it. Also, the place has been filling up with less-than-classy residents lately, but I'm still giving them a chance. Besides the cigarette butts all over the ground, the rusty cars in the parking lot, and their miscreant guests who knock on doors at all hours of the night... they haven't bothered me too much. Bottom line- so long as you don't need maintenance or amenities and can just sit back and enjoy the inside of your apartment and how pretty and new it is... this place could be worth the price for you. PS- There are two OUTSTANDING staff members. Always always always ask for Chaz or the tall Italian guy whose name I can't remember. They are always friendly and go above and beyond their call of duty at the leasing office.

        MANAGER --------

        After dealing with this company, I am absolutely disguisted by this company. The office Manager -------- and her assistant "--------" are an absolute JOKE that treat you like an idiot and talk down to you like they are better than you. -------- is not interested in handling any of your concerns once you sign a lease. Her only intention is to hold you to every dollar she can get from you and then when you challenge her, she puts you off with a different excuse every time. This place is a total joke and I am warning you...BUYER BEWARE!!!! Good luck getting your air filter changed or any other scheduled maintenance. They don't have any of the supplies ever in stock and forget about them once you are out of their site. Try gettig with her about 4-5 times before you get what you need. Also, make sure and pay your water bill at least a month ahead of time, or you'll get a nasty letter ever month like clock work...even though it's not even due yet. Their excuse...oh the water company mde a mistake!!!

          Fast Track Downhill

          Moved in March 2008 and have had a front row view of this property going down hill. It used to be a place with your professionals, not any longer. Seems like the circus has come to town and here is what I am seeing: 1) Rude neighbors. Music all hours, cig butts, dog crap on the grounds. 2) Security is gone. No people come and go when they want with no oversight, anyone can come in and do what they want 3) Parking is starting to get bad 4) Office staff does not care, wont return calls. My rent was to go up $115 a month for a new lease, I am moving. Seems like a great place from the outside but it has gone downhill quick the last 11 months. No longer worth the premium price they charge.

            Horrible!!!!!!

            I have lived here for awhile and I have to say that they are great to look at but the service is terrible, all they care about is collecting a check from the residence. If you ask them to do something or you need something done to the apartment you had better plan on waiting 2weeks to a month or more before you get it. I personally waited about 3 weeks before my dryer was fixed. The management here is absolutely terrible and I am talking about the ones who are here.They always blame everything on corprate instead of admitting that they had forgotten. Don't move in you will eventually hate it!!!! I do

              EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED

              I have lived here since April of 2008, and shortly after we moved in the place has gone DOWNHILL FAST!! The ONLY reason why we chose to rent here was because of the 24 hour security guard! Well, they got rid of him, maybe one to two months after we moved in. Ever since the security guard was fired, there has been trouble with parking, and getting into the gate! I almost got hit one day because someone was trying to enter through the exit! Also, my clicker goes out a lot, which wasn't a problem because the security guard recognized me and would let me in. After he left I used the code to get in. Well they changed it and when I went to management to ask for the code, they refused to give it to me saying that they didn't have one and disabled it completely. THE NEXT NIGHT I SAW SOMEONE ENTERING A CODE AND THE GATE OPENED FOR THEM! After the security guard was fired we were suppose to have a live in police officer. One night, my boyfriend and I were out at the pool, NOT swimming, and the police officer told us we had to leave the pool area. That would have been fine except management told us that we were allowed to be in the pool area, just not swimming after 10. The police officer was rude, and my boyfriend was furious. While I saw the police car parked in the front of the apartment complex for a while, I haven't seen a cop car in a long time and wonder if we still have a live in cop. Also, after the security guard left, we got a letter about multiple car break-ins. That sure makes me feel safe in this complex. Parking in the last two months has been a nightmare. If I come home past 10 theres a chance that there might not be a spot for me. I have had to park in a handicap spot before because I drove around for 15 minutes and couldn't find a parking spot. That's unacceptable. Also, as a young woman, I do not want to be walking a far distance from my apartment. Also, they have lost our rent check and water check and I know that we're not the first people that this has happened to. I looked at this website before we rented, and felt confident that we were making the right choice. I think that at the time, we had made the right choice, but this is no longer a desirable place to live, so I feel like it is my responsibility to warn anyone who is looking into this apartment complex.

                Great Place to Live :)

                I moved here from Miami and love the Vintage Park Apartments. When I moved in, they were offering a great rate of $1100 for the largest 2/2. I did express my concern that since the rent is so low that there might be people moving in that I would not normally like to live around. They assured me that even to qualify for the great rate, a person has to be making atleast 3 times as much as the market rent for that apartment (which I think is $1600). I do like the property and the management is great (expecially Santino and Chez). My concern is that I have seen a couple of shady people around the property (perhaps bringing in trash as was mentioned in the other reviews). I do feel that the management is trying to avoid bringing in trash but still wants to rent the units (I know that some of them have been empty ever since they opened). I got a letter on my door saying that there have been recent car breakins and to be careful. Well the same day I was coming home in the night and I saw two police cops patroling the parking lots. It really made me feel safe and made me feel that management steps up when needed in these situations.

                  Moving in Trash

                  I have lived here for going on two years. Everything has been fine until the last 2 months. They are giving an awesome special for 2 months FREE, but for some reason it's bringing more trash in. Not sure if all buildings are experiencing this, but we sure are. I walked out today and we had graffiti on the wall. We have never dealt with things like this before. I don't pay this kind of money for people to treat the property like crap. Another thing is the smokers don't seem to care where their cigarette butts land. I just feel like with the lowering of the rent and having more ppl than allowed in the apartments we are running into a lot of trash. The parking around my building is horrible and now I just can't stand these ppl. I can't wait to move out when my lease is up.

                    DON'T GET SUCKERED BY THE PROPERTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

                    I will only live there again if -------------------- ------------ sell the property. I have lived there for 12 months and the property is great, but if you like for the office to lose your check and steal your packages it is even better. I am not the only one there that has had their checks lost I know of about 10 different people with the same issues. The walls are super thin you hear EVERYTHING I do not like knowing my neighbors like that. My girlfriend will not even do anything because she is worried of the neighbors hearing us IT SUCKS. The office has gone through about four managers in my 12 months and every manager blames the last one very annoying.

                        Vintage Park Works For Me

                        I have been here since December 2007 and have signed 3 leases. There has been a lot of turn over in management but that is the nature of the apartment industry. I talked to one of their competitors who let me know that the current management team is doing what they are suppose to. My personal experience has been good. The current management has always taken care of my needs on a timely basis and has been very professional. Parking has been challenging at times but since when has a little extra walking ever hurt anyone? They frequently have discounts if you pay your rent early. I have saved a months rent doing that in addition to their already great pricing. You definitely get luxury apartment living at a great price.

                          i moved in 1/05/08 and i love this place.... I'm always greeted with smile, the staff is always helpful. And ready to serve my needs. They even walked my dogs for me when i'm at work! What else can we ask for.. i truely recommend this Apt.

                            I have lived here since day one. The pervious management was Ok I guess, however since new management I absolutely recommend Vintage Park I love the apartments awesome kitchens very well built (solid) The Front office staff is enormously a great help there always willing to help me especially for Christmas they wrapped all my presents.

                              Not bad

                              A fairly good apartment. Plenty of parking. I was on the third floor, and enjoyed some nice big ceilings. Main drawback was that there was no elevator for moving in and out. Nice size bedrooms and huge bathroom. Kitchen area was nice. Love the movie theater (20ish seats) where you can bring your own DVDs and enjoy them on the "big screen". Great gym, pool, spa, business center and barbeques. Also has a small playground for the kids to enjoy. Well thought out.

                                Don't do it...

                                I have never dealt with such a rude staff. They never get anything done and blame it on the past owners saying there is nothing they can do. They are extremely rude and if you want to live here, you should know you will be talked down to.

                                  I moved in 3 months ago and really enjoy living here! I recently needed a repair taken care of, I found the new office ladies to be friendly and very accommodatingand the maintenance took care of my repair needs promptly. This is a beautiful place to live and I have referred many of my friends.

                                      Bad Place

                                      This has a nice cosmetic look to it but the staff here are horrible. We only have 6 months left and can't wait to get out. If you have animals do not move here. The deposit is 750 and 250 of that you do not get back plus the rent for the animal every month. As well with many places being put up so fast we are now getting cracks in our walls. Plus if you do not live around the pool you do not matter. This place is overpriced and has nothing to offer. Do not move here.

                                        When a new management company takes over, you get screwed.

                                        Although this is a beautiful apartment complex. It is under new managements and if anything was promised by the prior management company, you can be assured that you will loose out. I had $100 dollars of my deposit taken because the new company would not honor what was said to me by the prior management company. They continue to blame the prior management company for all the mistakes. This company has done nothing but feed lies to its future residents. BE CAREFUL! I wouldn't suggest filling out an application or getting on their "Priority Waiting List" unless you are 100% sure you're going to lease with them because they will STEAL your money. That's so sad for such a beautiful property. I guess it's true, you can't judge a book by its cover.
