Great place for new comers. Terrific restaurants and services (7-11, banks). Would be complete with coffee house and dry cleaner. Convenient for travel downtown, BAYLOR, airports, and suburban communities.

Sound is terrible, especially when you have children living upstairs and parents that do not care to prevent children from running around. Office people can be rude especially when asking for maintenance. Need to have a place to receive packages without having to do it during office hours.

I recently relocated from the NYC area and considered a number of properties in the surrounding area. When I met with the Post team and viewed the apartments I was happy with the decision I made. The application process was smooth as was my move-in process. I couldn't be happier after only two weeks.

The hallway has not been mopped this year. Doggy bags not always provided which does not help with the dog dropping issues. The lighting in the grounds has not been maintained. They even have trouble replacing my microwave with a like unit. I live in a handicap unit and a standard counter top microwave will not fit under the upper cabinets. I'd like to get my carpeting replaced since I've been living here for 7 years it's getting worn and stained. I'd move but like this location and handicap features.

I like my apartment, not too big not too small either. my closet could be bigger but no complain there. The leasing Agents are super nice. my only issue is roaches. Im not sure if it is because I'm closed to the rash shoot, but not good. I just killed one from underneath my door...I was told that the apartments is sprayed daily to kill bugs but I'm not too sure about that now.

I am extremely satisfied with all services extended. Thanks to management and whole team here. I rented apartment here in year 2012 and never felt to leave this community. Leasing office management is very cooperative, responsive and helpful in every sense. Service people also do quick turnaround in fixing the problems reported.

really major complaints are the laundry room washers/dryers out of order, and parking garage is difficult. A better pay system for the laundry at all locations would also be helpful. The workout facility is really good.

Management team was friendly and helpful upon move in. Community is in a great area and in the first two months we haven't had a single issue with the complex. You can only hear noise in the hallways but the apartments are nice and quite.

We've been living here for just over a year now. It's a bit pricier than what we were used too for the past 20 years but I come home every day now and smile at how much I just love living here. The staff are friendly and helpful, any time we have opened up a maintenance request they have always had a quick turn around to getting things fixed. Everything seems so neat and clean. The noise level for us is just fine. I enjoy hearing "life" around us, dogs barking, people walking down the hall. Talking and just having fun. Love that there are so many restaurants in the area that are walking distance to us. I guess the only concern I would have is when the gates don't close or the doors from the garage just open without our fab thingy, which is not too often thankfully. Overall I would highly recommend this place!

Pretty good building. Being able to drive up to your own floor in a parking garage is probably my personal favorite feature. They have elevators, slow as they may be. Very easy to get locked out. Once forgot my keys and phone inside as i rushed my dog outside for it to use the restroom at 2 in the morning. Had my girlfriend not come outside to check and see what was taking me so long, i would have been locked out all night. They have call centers at the doors for an operator, but no matter if you give them any information all the way to your social security number, they wont let you in. Some weird and extremely unfortunate policy if you end up in the situation i was in. I am on the second floor of the Northeast building and the floor structure is concrete, so that helps with any sound i may cause to the person below me. Although, I did get a letter from the neighbor next to me asking for me to be quieter after 10, I had only been watching a movie the previous night so watch which wall you put your sound system on. ALso, with my building location, the smell of indian food fills the halls due to the restaraunt right across the street to within the complex, so take that into account. I only needed maintenance done on the first day i moved in, my garbage disposal wasn't working but they came quickly and fixed it right up. Check and make sure all your vents are blowing air when the a/c or heater is on. It seems as though from where the air comes from, it ejects out the first couple vents too quickly and the others down the line don't get any of it, so my bedroom got all the air while my living room hardly git anything. My place is so small it didn't effect much but those who get larger places, check that out. I had a hefty pet deposit. 60lb dog is 750 down with only 250 refundable. This is the most expensive place I know in the area. 1175 for a roughly 800sf studio and as i am moving out, i received a notice saying rent was going up to 1240. Maybe it was the hardwood floors, square footage, and stainless steel, but still? Richardson? Id still recommend if you have the money. Nice environment and surroundings

Pros: Many great businesses and restaurants in the Eastside complex, which is convenient. Maintenance is required to respond within 48 hours, or Post will start crediting your rent; as a result, I have never had to wait more than 24 hours for a maintenance fix, whether it be major or as minor as a light bulb. Parking garage can be hit or miss, but provides convenient and free covered parking, which saved our vehicles during a hail storm. The Post Cares resident rep seems like a really nice guy, and they hold monthly events for the residents. Cons: This place is very loud. Depending on the orientation of your unit, you may be facing 75, the DART line, a loud retail area, or some combination thereof. We've requested our weather stripping on our doors to be replaced, but the constant roar of 75 is impossible to block out. More importantly, I have lived in dozens of apartment complexes and have NEVER had as many issues with noise/vibrations from upstairs neighbors as I've had here. Our upstairs neighbor stomps (to the point of shaking things off of our shelves on occasion), yells, and plays loud music at obscene hours. We've reported the issue to management 6+ times to no avail. About 50% of the time they will send their on-site police officer to our neighbor's door, which solves the issue for about 30 minutes. It is absolutely Post's responsibility to uphold their community standards and evict a problem renter like this, but I think they are having trouble filling their units, so they hope folks like me put up with it during the yearly rent hike and don't move out (oops, I'm leaving). Many of the 1- and 2-bedroom units utilize a mini double-door on bathrooms instead of a standard latched door. This leaves an awkward gap in the middle of your bathroom door. As someone who works in real estate, this is pretty obviously a cheap space-saving measure used to shove an extra unit or two into the footprint while still meeting code. For what it's worth, a maintenance guy let it slip that Post did not develop this property, rather another developer developed the property and Post later bought it out. Overall, appliance and building quality is low. Aside from the obvious noise issues, a fire door in our hallway has been broken for the entire year I've lived here and is dangerously jerry-rigged open. Hail damage from March/April storms has left our window screens tattered to this day (November), and roof damage from the storm is finally being fixed this month. Technical difficulties recently brought down the entire keycard system, and I had to park outside and get let in the building by management. I can handle all of the cheap appliances (hope you like terrible GE garbage disposals and no external kitchen hood connection) and weird doors, though. What I can't handle is the lack of accountability by management when it comes to unruly neighbors. It's the landlord/property manager's responsibility to stand up for their tenants in good standing when they report an issue. Post has shown a lack of regard for another tenant violating their lease and impacting our quality of life, and for that reason we will not be living in another Post-managed community ever again.

Worst place I've ever lived in! The management will get you in and then turn their backs on you. If you like noise then you'll love this place. You will hear every footstep in the place above you, everyone in the hallways and all of the barking dogs. I'm guessing if you like noise then you'll love the parking. They make you pay $500 for a parking spot or you can try to find one which you can't. They also allow the big office complex to park in the garage so they take all of the spots. They also have access into the buildings so if you hate security this is the place for you. Overall this place is awful and I can't wait to move out. Seriously look elsewhere and save yourself the headache.

Worst place I've ever lived at. When my car was broken into and I stopped by to tell the office about it, I got a look like why are you telling us and was told it's your own responsibility. I thought they would want to know that they have a theft problem. I asked whether my boyfriend who doesn't live with me could park behind the gate, because I was afraid that his car will be vandalised as well, but was told that it was my problem. And that was not my main issue. My main issue was the mice and rats in the bushes surrounding the property pretty much all along Greenville. I have a dog and lived on that side, so every time I took her out, I had to either deal with them or be completely terrified. My dog tried to chase them, I stepped on one a couple times and had a really close call a few other times. They were not there year around but several months out of the year. The office said they couldn't do much about it - it's just Richardson, or whatever other excuse they used. Of course, I lived in Richardson before and never had rat/mice issues. My dog, a very clean pet, got fleas that I couldn't get rid of. I am convinced that they were from the grass from the mice. I asked them to let me out of the lease a couple months earlier because I was dreaming about rats at night, I was getting so paranoid. I was told that I can move out tomorrow but will not be let off the lease. A couple people in the office were nice, but the management - I hope I never have to deal with people like that again. I lived there only one year and would never come back there again. This is my first ever negative review of an apartment but I was compelled to write it because I was so upset by it.

I love living here! The people in the office are always polite and so friendly!! The maintenance crew handle any maintenance issues quickly and always have a smile on their face!! The parking garage is well lit. I never hear my neighbors. The elevators are perfect for people moving to the upper floors. The apartments are spacious with huge closets and a lot of upgrades. I have yet to take advantage of the workout room but it has a lot of different equipment to workout all parts of your body.

Parking was a pain at this complex. After grocery shopping and being lucky enough to find a parking spot, takes 15 minutes to carry things from car to apartment. Pets peeing and crapping in the hallways all the time. Only lived there for 4 or 5 months waiting for my new home to be built. Was so nice to just pull into my attached garage in new home after grocery shopping. Only reason I was here was because this was the only place that allowed a lease less than 6 months. At end of my lease, I requested a walkthrough and their leasing agent, Amber, seemed defensive and gave me an attitude. After our walkthrough, she asked if I smoked and I said no. Then she tried to charge me close to $900 for smoking smell, and then told me that they won't charge me that much, but it was their policy to overcharge. I escalated this scam to ---- about this overcharge for something I wasn't responsible for. She claimed nothing was found in their investigation. I was ready to take ---- to small claims court had they try to take my entire deposit. Ended up they only charge $100 from my deposit to replace carpet. Wasn't worth the effort to take to small claims court over $100 and lose a day of work. I wouldn't recommend this place. In my opinion, they try to suck all the money out of you as they can. The rent you pay here is pretty much a mortgage payment, buy a house.

Very dissapointed! I got my lease renewal letter and they decided to raise my rent $90 a month. With the water bill increase they so generously did this past winter, I will no longer be able to afford my extremely over priced apartment. I have a one bedroom apt that is less than 800 square feet and my rent will be close to $1100 a month. They had the nerve to call me when they got my notice and asked why I was choosing not to renew. When I said the only reason was because of how much they were raising my rent, they told me there was nothing they could do about that and thanks for renting with them. Wow. The parking is ridiculous! Everyone is going to reserved spaces so there are no spaces close to the door. But I can reserve a spot for an additional $40 a month. If you get home after 6pm you will have to park a long way away. They say they are reserving the outside parking spots for businesses, and yet these spots are consistently empty. The first floor of the parking garage is off limits to residents and you will get a sticker threatening to tow your car if you park there, but there are tons of open spaces on the first floor that are never used. The appeal of local shops has faded as nothing new except a hooters style resturante has came in. How about getting some places to shop? Just a thought... The apartments look nice but are made so cheaply! My dishwasher never cleans my dishes so I have to hand wash them. The kitchen counter was put on crooked so it hangs off to one side. My microwave is falling apart. They said they cleaned the carpet when I moved in but within days there were big stains starting to come through. The toilet backs up after 2 flushes. You can hear everything coming from the surrounding apartments, and I mean everything. And that leads to another problem, the residents. I have never seen people so rude. People let their dogs poop and pee in the halls and dont clean it up. If your apartment faces the enclosed courtyards good luck trying to sleep. People go out on their balconies at all times of night and laugh and talk loudly. I had a neighbor who woke me up nightly for 2 solid months having parties on his balcony. He would be on the balcony yelling, laughing, and on his cell phone at 1, 2, 3 in the morning and it took management 2 months to make him stop. The machines in the gym are broken. The tvs on both treadmills either dont have sound or arent working, and this is an amenity I pay for. The front office rarely tells me when a package has arrived so you go weeks wondering where things you ordered online are. The one pro about this place is maintenance is fast. That's about it.

I've lived here several years and was prompted to write this review when I got the (I believe) THIRD letter from management on my door threatening to tow my car if I'm out of line. They posted this on every door with similar letters posted all over every level of the parking garage, and the constant escalation in how threatening their language is is a good indicator of the "screw the residents in favor of business patrons" ethos here. But some background... Parking is a nightmare. An absolute nightmare. When I first moved here, we could park in front of the building for a few hours without incident and I could easily get good spots (2nd, 3rd, 4th floors) in the parking garage. Then they cracked down on parking in front of the buildings. Ok, well garage it is then. That was fine for a while, until the reserved spots started. Parking was NEVER an issue that warranted reserved spots but I guess they wanted to capitalize on peoples' greed and laziness so they offered reserved spots for $40 or so a month. Of course, the more spots they added, the worse the parking got, and reserved spots have been added at an exponential rate as the addition of more reserved spots increased the NEED for reserved spot. At this point it is flat out extortion. I can get a decent spot if and only if I arrive during a 3-5 hour range in the afternoon, but if it's any later than 8pm, I typically have to park on the top floor and it's about 5 minutes to my apartment. So, garage parking is bad. Well, now they have sent notices that people who park in front of businesses in this area WILL HAVE THEIR CARS TOWED regardless of whether or not they ARE A PATRON OF THAT BUSINESS if they have an apartment parking sticker. Apparently, we are required to park in the garage and deal with the terrible parking (as a result of the reserved spots) so that non-resident visitors won't have to walk as much. This is absurd. The point of this whole tale is to demonstrate how utterly callous and uncaring this apartment owner is towards the residents that keep it around, and how much it sits in the pockets of the business owners. DO NOT MOVE HERE. It has only gotten far worse over the years, and it will get worse. What's worse than not being able to park easily for your own apartment? When visitors can't park at all of course! Visitor parking is limited to a very small strip of spots at the back. There's a ton of empty parking all around, and yet none of it is helpful. At night you can park wherever, but if you have visitors during business hours or overnight, then you're screwed if there are no visitor spots. A few more problems... They have done renovations that lasted for 3-4 weeks of load hammering every day at 8am-9am onwards. I hope your sleep schedule matches a 9-5 job. Otherwise you won't be able to get 8 hours in your own apartment. For a month. The air conditioners put out so much white noise that I have to turn them off when watching TV. They bring in so much dust that all of my surfaces have a solid layer of dust a mere week or two after a thorough dusting. The place seems to be cultivating a hip pseudo-urban vibe, but almost all of the lights are out around 11pm here, and almost all of the adjoining businesses close shop at 9pm or so. Not necessarily a good or a bad thing, just the way it is. Don't expect some Oak Lawn style hip crowd here. Bug problems have been bad. My girlfriend didn't visit my apartment for 2 months at one point because she was allergic to ants and they took a month or so to do anything about the absurd ant infestation. I'm not sure who has a say on what businesses open, but do we REALLY want a Hooters-style sports bar opening around a bunch of residential units? REALLY? SO... what's good? The apartments LOOK nice. Even with all the dust and noise problems, visitors will be impressed at how swanky your place looks. The staff in the leasing office are incredibly friendly and helpful and can't really be blamed for management's anti-tenant policies. Having all the local restaurants and businesses nearby is incredibly convenient. Maintenance is typically very very fast and gets the job done. Anyway, that's about it. It's not that the owners are malicious. It's just that they prioritize businesses and local business patrons FAR above their tenants, and if you move here you will just have to accept that not only do you not get any benefits as a resident, but you actually lose privileges you would have as a visitor. This review was prompted by the cavalier attitude they showed towards mistreating their residents in the letter they sent out, and I hope for everyone's sake that they change this.

Avoid like the plague. Management lacks basic common sense and couldn't care less about residents. The only reason I'm still here is because I was the first tenant to move into the unit I am renting and it is near my job. I have had to beg them to take my rent money when their system malfunctioned and had to explain to them about how their own billing system calcuates rent and other charges. The guy could not grasp the concept of their own method of billing for the prior month's water usage in the following month. I won't blame the management for the thin walls since they don't have control over that but the walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbors going to the bathroom and blowing their nose. Sound gets amplified in the courtyard so you can hear people having normal conversations on their balconies if you live in a courtyard facing unit. Most residents realize this so they don't spend time on their balconies but not all are considerate. The building was poorly built so they have had to do two major exterior renovations since I've been here. -One side of the my unit does not get enough air (A/C or heat). -They have tried to raise the rent every year I have lived here even though comparable units at the apartment were renting at lower prices. -UPS and Fedex rarely bother with coming to your door. They just drop off packages at the office most of the time. Not the apartment's fault but it's one of the hassles of living here. -There's enough parking but if you come home around 8PM or 9PM you will have to park a couple of floors up from your level. This doesn't bother me but it may be a safety issue for women since the upper levels of the parking garage don't have direct entry into the apartment area. The parking garage staircases and elevators are pretty creepy at night. -TV screens on gym equipment works off and on. Never works on one of two treadmills. The buttons don't work properly on the TV controls. -There's a lack of visitor parking spaces since they turned most spaces on the property to time limited retail spaces. Haven't seen any towing activity but the threat is there.

Vandalism and theft occur ALOT here!
I have been here for several years. There has been 4 motorcycles stolen, bikes, helmets and wheels stolen.Vehicles have been keyed, hit or bumped into. Management knows about it but won't tell anyone to alert the community for fear of residents leaving so the theft continues.Dogs barking all the time because the owners neglect them,so it echoes down the hall, and get others to join in.Other than that it's okay. It's real click-ish around here....everyone thinks their better than the next.I've seen a lot of good people leave so now it's my time to join them....You can hear your neighbors fighting, arguing,or their t.v. or just walking above you.Or in the halls late at night early in the mourning yelling, laughter, whatever because they are drunk! They don't care if your trying too sleep.Park where ever you can find a spot....good luck!

Poor Built Floor & Poor Staff
The apartment looks nice, but the floor is constructed very cheap. I lived in 1st floor. You can hear foot steps and other things of above floor. If you don't want to hear the noise of people walking or talking above your floor, this is not a very good place. Also, those guys tried to increase the price by $60 for renewal. Since I don't get any discount for signing a year, it was $100 increase from what I paid last year. I have never seen greedy people like them. As far as I know from living in apartments for 17 years, the increase was usually kept within $30. They told me I can negotiate, but even if they increase by $20 or $30, how could I trust such a dishonest people??? I looked at the low rating of this apartment when I moved in and wondered why. Now I can see what people were talking about and agree with the rating. Nice looking apartment, but 2.5 star or less.

DO NOT do this place!!! We have lived here one year and have never been so unhappy. The low rating is there for solid reasons. You are not told this on move-in, however, cell phone reception is lousy. You are forced to go onto your patio or outside for calls. Noise issues abound all around you. Management's responsiveness to tenant issues is unacceptable. The parking system favors management not the tenants. Gym equipment is slow to get replaced. Run to a better rated home.

Do not rent from here. MOLD!
I lived here for 2 plus years and I put in many requests for my air filters to be changed. I like my house to be very clean which is why it was odd it was becoming so dusty so easily. Finally, I took it upon myself to take off all of the air vents only to find that there was a large amount of MOLD growing in all of them! When I say a lot, they had someone come up there and have a company come out and TRY to clean the vents. That did not work so they tried painting over the mold to cover it up. I was there and asked them to leave and that was unacceptable. Next they had to have someone come in and chemically try and kill everything that was growing in there. Meanwhile, I got a sample(because they refused to test for mold) and sent it off to a lab. The sample came back a few weeks later and tested positive for 2 different types of mold growing in the air vents. Might I add the fact they could not get all of their stories straight as to what was going on, why it happened, and then they were "not allowed to speak to me anymore regarding this issue". I had to talk to higher authority. I then called the State Department of Health and Public Safety and had someone on my case. This was an ongoing battle between everyone. After I informed them that it was confirmed mold they told me they were going to have to change out the complete air duct all together, put new ones in because they could not kill everything in there. Next, they were going to have to take out all of the drywall around the air vents and repaint. I could no longer live in my apartment and had to stay elsewhere when this was going on because I was having severe outbreaks from all of it. I went to see several different doctors as to what was happening (still they were not concerned). I asked the Post if I could be reimbursed for the time I could not stay in my OWN apartment(which ended up to be almost a month) and they REFUSED!! There honestly is no telling how many more peoples apartments were affected by this because they had to go through the room and get to my air ducts and a lot of them are connected. Needless to say they felt that it was not needed to reimburse me for having to REPLACE ALL MY AIR DUCTS WITH MOLD IN THEM, TAKE OUT OLD DRY WALL, AND REPAINT, and expected me to be okay with these living conditions. STAY AWAY!!!!
