We love living here at MAA Eastside. There are excellent food options below, a nice little park area, it's close to 2 major highways, and plenty of other food varieties/entertainment/parks within just a few miles. My biggest complaint comes from this year, 2024 when Dallas was hit by a big storm early this year. It ripped a lot of shingles off of the apartments which caused major water damage to multiple units. We called about the severe water damage to our unit and it took them a week to finally come out. When they finally started their investigation and repairs, it was almost a month later. The delay caused our shoe closet to start growing mold, which means there was mold growing on the inside of the walls for it to have spread into the interior of the shoe closet. They did nothing about the mold growing inside the wall. Instead, they sprayed the outside with mold repellent and then painted over it. This made us feel very uncomfortable and we asked if and when something would be done about the inside, and they informed us they would not be working on it. This has been our only complaint while living here, even though there are several other issues.

This apartment has nice units, but a bad outside?. And everything else. It constantly smells like dog pee and there's hair and pee in the stairwell. Constant construction or mowing going on every morning waking you up at 5am. Construction goes until 8pm and keeps you awake. Someone was deceased at this apartment as well. Wouldn't recommend for the price.

Absolutely one of the best apartments I've lived in this far! Amazingly friendly staff and great accommodations and amenities! The access to the service road and Main Street with banks, along with a great variety of restaurants and other local favorites makes living much more convenient!

Our experience here has been very good. We enjoy the facilities, the apartments are quiet, nice and reasonably priced. Parking facilities are nice and secure. We have had very few problems and when we do have had issues they have been resolved quickly by the very friendly staff here.

Apartments are clean and reasonably priced. There's not a ton of amenities if that's what you're into but it's practical. Maintenance is responsive for the most part but the leasing office is not responsive to communication channels that aren't going straight to their office to talk to them 1:1 unfortunately.

Great, although the head manager was so rude to me while trying to get Spectrum to access the telecoms room in my building due to an issue with my internet. I was very surprised as everyone i have dealt with to date has gone above and beyond. Everything is great, but I would appreciate not being disrespected or belittled by the manager, we were brushed off 3 times in the space if 20 minutes. Then she said ' apparently people cant use keys ' after the keys she gave us did not work. I am not sure what i am supposed to do when the keys you give us do not work and we are then insulted when we return with the keys? Every other lady in the leasing office and all maintenance guys are so nice and very understanding , helpful, etc they all go above and beyond.

Ants, unsafe, poor leasing office staff/ management, charges for carpet

I would not recommend MAA Eastside to anyone or would I reside at any MAA property again based on my experience at MAA Eastside in Richardson, Texas. Ive had issues with this complex since the start of my move in process. The managers Shavon and Maria value coin not community and it shows. From arriving to an uncleaned, clearly unfinished apartment to being told that I could not receive my keys because my roommate (whom was an approved tenant on the lease) was unable to stop by the office during office hours with me to pick up the key. Not only was the unit not prepared for a new tenant, BUT ALSO there was no washer or dryer like I was guaranteed there would be. When I brought it to their attention they said it could take up to 6 weeks , I should use the washroom on property and I would not be accommodated or compensated for THEIR mistake. One of the last straws for me was when the front office sent an email stating that there had been a burglary in one of the units. Even with someones apartment being burglarized, the complex still refused to repair multiple doors that allow direct access to the property. Multiple doors in my building could be easily opened, by just pulling on the door, without using a key fob. Not to mention the garage gate often remained opened because it rarely functioned properly. If safety is something that you value, do not stay here as the safety of residents clearly is not a priority. In addition to the concerns listed above, there have also been situations in which a front office employee provided me with incorrect info related to the property policies, my lease, etc. When I asked to speak to management regarding the previously given information, management reported that the information would not be honored because it was inaccurate. Management has also hung up in my face during a call and refused to listen back to a previously recorded call (calls to the front office are recorded) to verify that the incorrect information was given to me in the first place. Lastly, after dealing with these issues and inconveniences caused by MAA, they charged me $300 for carpet that had no damages or stains when I moved out. The lack of security AND the subpar management team at MAA Eastside are two of the main reasons why I would never, ever stay at another MAA property.

We loved the location and community. We were approved quickly and the staff helped us get things moving quickly for a deployment for catastrophic adjusting. One day after we signed the lease. While we were handling this, we had to put my mom on hospice back in Lubbock where we were coming from. Then she declined rapidly and we signed a DNR for her. Then the very next day after signing the lease, I was deployed back to Lubbock where I was thrilled to get to be with my mom for her last moments. One day...nothing was moved into the apartment. And the community was unwilling to offer some grace and mercy to let us out of the lease. So we are now stuck paying for a lease that we no longer will need. It is frustrating to see businesses set rules that don't account for the reality of life and humanity. We were so disappointed in the poor character of the MAA community and the lack of even basic empathy from the management. It was discouraging and disheartening to realize how much the almighty dollar holds power with the "leaders" at MAA. We signed the lease and we will honor it...but wow..it's a lot to handle. We own 2 businesses and understand that sometimes, indeed, rules matter...but when it comes to caring for our clients, we try to never let money ruin an opportunity for kindness and generosity. Additionally, the unit smells like marijuana. It's really unpleasant. And illegal an we were sad to see this rule is sacrificed by the MAA leadership.

The community is very noisy at all times of the day. It is getting worse everyday. A new Nigerian restaurant is opened in the middle of apartment complex. They blast bass and loud music whole night. It turns into a nightclub during the night hours. It is not possible to have "quiet enjoyment" of the property.

All of the staff are so kind! This apartment complex is dog friendly and in close proximity to a dog park. It's a well rounded complex that is quiet during the week and lively on the weekends with great restaurants on the bottom floors.

It's been pretty good. Maintenance responds quickly and they've been good with odd maintenance requests, such as resurfacing a tub. Price per square foot is phenomenal, especially for the area. Don't fool yourself into believing it's a luxury apartment - it's not. You're definitely saving that in rent. This is a great place to actually live if you have a normal middle class lifestyle. Overall good experience so far, 8 months in. Only annoyance I've had is when calling the office, often they're busy (although not as much recently, so that might have changed since we first moved in).

We love this complex. Food right downstairs, friendly and helpful staff. Work orders get completed in a timely manner. The residents are hit and miss on being friendly but that's anywhere nowadays haha.

I love it here. For the most part I'd rate it a 3.5. I understand not everything is perfect. I have neighbors who play loud music but will typically stop during quiet hours, though I've had to call the police before. We are off a busy street and I can hear the cars go by but only during rush hour. I'm not so well informed about the parking because I live closer to the front rather than the garage and was threatened to have my car towed because I continued to park in the front from Saturday-Monday. I was told guest could park behind the gate in any of the spots but just tonight had a security guard harrass me and my guest who is staying to take care of me due to me having strep and an infection. I did ask him if there was an issue or if we were inthe way, but he just ignored us, stopped and stared and took down her license plate. Now i'm not really sure what to do with the parking. I hope someone can explain it to me a little clearer. And hopefully something can be done about the security guard from tonight. License plate of security guard: SNV6572. The front office staff changes a lot but everyone is super nice for the most part, even if they're new and have no idea what's going on. The upkeep and maintenance department are probably the best part of this community. They are kind, go above and beyond when I am in need of something. Little things like speaking in passing make me feel like this is a community versus just an apartment complex. The ground are beautiful and I can tell maintenance and groundskeepers take pride in what they do. I would be hard pressed to give up living here based off of that alone.

We've been here for about 4 months now, and I have no complaints. The property is well taken care of, the fitness center is always clean. There are lot of restaurants nearby and the 7/11 is very convenient to have right across the property. The maintenance team is GREAT!

The staff here at MAA Eastside are committed and extremely hard-working. It is a beautiful complex with the convenience of a few restaurants, businesses and a bank. All within walking distance. You have the option of parking outside or in a parking garage. I highly recommend considering MAA Eastside as your next home.

So far the community has been nice so far. I don't really talk to anyone here. I barely see my next door neighbor. The amenities here work. It would be good if we had community events like outside in the grassy area. Other than that, it would be nice if the gym was bigger or that the events center stayed open beyond the office hours. But it's in a nice area. I75 is right down the block, Walmart is a 15 minute drive away, restaurants is well within walking distance, I like the parking is covered because it's multilevel so I don't have to worry about hail damage. Also, it's not too far from work, even though I work mostly from home, I am still 10 minutes from the office.
