Overall a smooth move in process. The cleaning could have been more thorough as there was pet hair and dust throughout the apartment, mold-like substance inside the dishwasher, lint in the utility closet and grease in the exhaust above the stove, however I wouldn't say it was "dirty" upon move in. The pros are that it smelled nice, no odors from previous tenants and the paint was touched up nicely. So far we are enjoying the command look forward to our time here.

    Lived here since April 2018. Changed unites a few times but still in the same complex. Anytime we had any questions the staff was always friendly and accessible. I've really enjoyed my time here - thank you!

      MAA Eastside has been a very welcoming community for all of its diverse residents. Here you'll find families, college students, and others living among you. The apartment is well maintained with their maintenance staff being super fast to respond to issues. The office staff has also been super helpful whenever I needed something from them. Overall I recommend this apartment for anyone who wants to live in Richardson, and also be close by to other big coties like Dallas, Plano, Allen.

        I really enjoyed visiting this location because everything was very clean and organized. I also liked how pretty much the apartment is right in the middle of everything as far as caf?s, convenience stores and local mail spas the apartment pretty much has everything you need in walking distance. I also like the layout and floor pan of the apartment complex that I viewed during my tour. Overall, I was very pleased with what I saw at the apartment complex.

          The location is great. We are close To major highways for easy access to the DFW area. The restaurants located within the complex offer a variety of places to eat. Management is responsive and keeps the area clean and up to date. The area is low crime and safe. And here, the maintenance take care of any issues in a timely manner.

            We have not been happy at this community. Our neighbors are loud 24/7, people do not clean up after their pets, or themselves. There is no parking available and management has not be able to help us. Instead we have been targeted for our complaints.

              Its been nice, everyone seems friendly including the neighbors, staff and maintenance workers. The location is convenient for restaurants and shopping. There are plenty of places to just past the freeway.

                  My son urged me to move here. Then he disappeared. This isn't your fault. I have made suggestions to management of ways they could improve the living environment. One is garbage area and another exercise equipment. Both either fell on deaf ears or were probably laughed at. I have tried on several occasions to urge them to address garbage collections, including threatening calling the Health Department. It remains a BIG issue. I would be happy to add my suggestions. Once I received this answer from management, "That will not be necessary". When this type of message is received, it is a good reason to stop trying to help. If you care, I would be happy to comment more. By the way, the garbage problem remains. They did increase collection days, but the problem remains.

                  MAA Eastside has a very supportive staff. They are very courteous and they respond almost immediately upon request. The campus is clean, convenient, and very quiet. I recommend MAA Eastside for anyone who is looking for a convenient apartment and clean place to live.

                    Friendly Courteous staff that go beyond your needs. We'll maintained building. Maintenance staff is also very courteous and clean. The parking has plenty of parking spots. The only downside is that it's not wheelchair friendly.

                      Broken gates... broken promises... broken dreams :(

                      I had my car vandalized in the garage. So did other people. They tried to minimize and cover up the fact that felonies were occurring in their parking garage. "You're the only person this happened to" they assured me. The gate has been broken for around a month. They keep gaslighting me about when the gate was broken (they say it happened on Memorial Day, I recall that it was broken prior to that) and when the gate is going to get fixed. My lease says the community fees can be used to maintain the garage. No idea where those are going since the garage needs to be maintained and nothing is getting done. Apparently they lease the garage from this company called Fobare Commercial who's responsible for the upkeep. But clearly MAA is a low-priority tenant for Fobare because the gate has been broken for around a month. Either way, they're way too willing to stretch the truth about things that don't really need to be lied about. It makes me wonder what else they may be stretching the truth about. Structural integrity? Elevator inspections? Do the fire sprinklers even work? Who knows? I can't wait to leave. I'm sure I'll lose my security deposit. They'll make something up to collect the whole thing back from me. And the sad part is we have been ideal tenants and were going to renew up until a month ago. I probably wouldn't even have negotiated market rate. We're quiet, we pay the rent on time, we've even purchased extra perks like reserved parking spaces. I have personally cleaned up trash in the parking garage and dog feces in the halls. I clean the grill after I'm done using it. I'm a good neighbor. But then they lied about something that didn't need to be lied about. Don't lie to people about their homes. Be a good neighbor and let people know what's going on. If felonies were occurring on the property manager's street, I'm sure they'd want to know about it. Your tenants deserve honesty and transparency. This is people's homes you're messing with. People take their homes seriously and personally. You're entrusted with a lot of responsibility, and when you shirk that responsibility, people deserve to know. I hope your experience with MAA is better than mine, because I feel like a fool who has been played. I no longer feel safe in my home.

                        Took a tour while looking for our first apartment. The location was wonderful and the building exteriors look very nice. Community has never looked or felt overly crowded or loud when I've been in the area outside of the fact that it is near the train tracks beside 75 and Campbell. The inside felt less updated but still very clean and relatively safe. Unfortunately, not all buildings have direct access to the parking garages.

                          I was not able to view the facility or community. I did a virtual tour and was not sent anything regarding this. I was sent 3 different aparments to view and I am unsure if they are the ones available because the square footage noted in the video was not what was noted in the apartments I was sent that are what I was looking for. I emailed the agent with questions and asked him to email me back. He called me and asked me to call him back. Unfortunately my schedule is very busy during the day with meetings I am not available. I hope to stop there today to see more. The one stars I give are only because I can not submit that I did not see the facility. I know transportation in that area so I could answer that.

                            We found that the agent was very helpful and willing to help. We showed up before close and he still agreed to show us an available apartment. We decided to apply rent.                               Though I have not moved in yet but with the tour I noticed the community have these serene gardens and parking lots is covered there's no gear of rain or damage due to rain. The floor is wood which makes it easy for cleaning.

                                      Solid but didn't have correct apartment upon arrival. Also had multiple light fixtures not working and a green stain in the sink that won't come out. Definitely room for improvement and was not what I was expecting from this community.

                                        In my experience thus far, I enjoying the walking area and plenty of spaces for parking. I also like the app- smart rent. The property is quiet and located near a few restaurants. The layout is ok and I'm not a fan on the wall color. There's dog poop everywhere and the gym probably has never been cleaned. The computer area is hit or miss. The property is also located near the freeway and train. No media center or after hours club house. The pool area is just ok.

                                          The last two years have been abysmal. The type of people moving in seem to care nothing for the property. People let their pets use the restroom in the hallways, they leave trash lying about, and have no regard for noise. As I type this, the person below me is banging around so much, the floor is shaking beneath my feet. When I sleep, there are times when it is like someone is jumping on my bed. Every night I go to bed with earbuds. I've had to take phone calls in my closet and sometimes sit in there when I work from home, because it's the only place that is quiet. Last night the banging was so loud my neighbor and I both had to call security on someone. Management does nothing. They don't even return phone calls. Being polite gets you nowhere. Talk to anyone who is several months into their lease and they will tell you, management is nice to get you here, and then flatline you. I've been here for almost 6 years (it will be my last lease here) and I've seen people stay a year and move on. I wish I had. No one lingers and talks in the common areas like they used to. Last I knew, the community events team was let go because there wasn't enough involvement. Also, there is a homeless man living on the property, so be aware of your surroundings. In the cold months, he's been seen living in the stairwells, so ladies, be extra careful and listen to your surroundings. There are also two homeless people who get off at Galatyn Station and come here to see him. They have never been anything but polite so I hope no one treats them rudely, but just be aware of your surroundings. The community a bit concerned about how the new train line will affect the influx of homeless people living here. On a positive note, the maintenance team here are some of the best guys I've met. They work tirelessly to make sure your place is in good condition, always in good spirits, and when I've asked for them to show me how to do something, so I can fix it myself next time (kitchen faucet leak), they are always willing to teach without making you feel ignorant. I've never felt unsafe around them - it's kind of like having a grandpa/brothers who can help you. They are very kind and the gem to this location.

                                            It was the worst experience The apartment that I have the signed lease for, wasn't ready on the day of move-in. The apartment wasn't cleaned so I had to sign another lease for more expensive apartment. Since I had no choice and my previous Lease was ending, I decided to move into another apartment, which is more expensive and out of my budget. I will not recommend my friends to MAA eastside. I will move out once my lease is over. I already regret moving in here.
