We've been here for 8 months and this is, by far, the best apartment I've ever lived in. It can get a little pricey, but to me, it's worth it. They offer a lot of amenities and I feel very safe here. The grounds are well kept and it's nice to walk around the community. When the pipes in our laundry room started leaking, maintenance came right away to fix it. Parking is never a problem. The only complaints I have is that our dishwasher is old and rusty and the window screens are bent, so if we open the windows, flies always get in, not big problems. I'm sure if I complained they'd fix them.

Lived here for five years, had a great experience. Vicki and the rest of the staff were great, maintenance always did a good job, and landscaping was the best around, as far as I'm concerned. Anytime any undesirables moved in, they either shaped up or were evicted, the rental office didn't play around with that. Prices are a bit on the high side for a rental, but the location is central to Norfolk, VB, and Chesapeake, and living there was a great experience. Highly recommended. I've done my research and I don't think you can find a better rental in Hampton Roads.

This is a great place to live! It's quiet and the tenants here are polite and considerate of the other tenants. The office staff are very friendly and accommodating, the maintenance staff are the best! After living in several apartment complexes i have found that the office staff and maintenance staff are by far the best here! Even if they have to come to help in the middle of the night they are considerate, quiet, and polite! By far this is the best place I have lived in the years I have been in this area!!

I am not an apartment fan, period. Before visiting Holly Point, I was a bit hesitant about the apartment lifestyle. When we pulled onto the grounds, however, I was very pleased with the landscaping and water features of the community. The clubhouse is very well maintained and well appointed. The apartment that I ended up renting was very clean and well prepared for us. We did not ever feel like our home was attached to another home. Our small children loved the playgrounds and our outside patio. I loved that the apartment had a security system, but never felt unsafe here. The only issue we had was with our Internet working correctly. We only moved because we purchased a home.

Let me just say that before I moved into this apartment complex I did my share of visits to other apartments in the area. This is by far the best value that I could find in an apartment. From my first phone call to the day I signed my lease until now the office staff is EXTREMELY courteous - I LOVE JODIE, JAY and KYLE!!! I have had issues that I was not sure how to proceed since this is my first time living in an apartment and they helped guide me to the right place if they could not address the issue. Any maintenance issues are handled that same day if the request is in early enough - and the maintenance people are also very friendly. This is by far one of the quietest areas and I appreciate that. Just last week the pollen was so heavy on the exterior of the buildings that they power washed the buildings which I definitely appreciated since I have horrible allergies. I also like that when they are landscaping the area they try and do it while most people are at work. I love coming home and seeing that the grass has been cut without having to see the clippings and endure smelling that "fresh cut grass smell." My only downfall for this place would be parking. Now I normally do not complain, but when you pay to live here and yet you can not find a parking spot it gets annoying very quick. It is suppose to be that the spot in front of your door is yours; however, good luck with that. Four out of seven days my "spot" is occupied by visitors which can become annoying after a long day of work or when you come in with groceries and have to park away from your apartment. I wish they would just number the spaces (maybe by painting the numbers in the back of the space) so that you could see what places are associated with each apartment. Rules state that if you have two cars you are asked to park one near your door and the other in visitor's parking so that your neighbors can have a space...I have one car and have a hard time parking on my street. I was told that the guard (yes that's another perk...having a guard on duty!!:)) tells visitors they are not suppose to park in front of doors, but that is not enforced. If you do come to live here please make sure that your street has a visitor's parking area and this issue probably will not exist. Overall, I love this place and the area. It is close to just about everything without being right in the middle of all the traffic. If you come here to visit ask for Jay, Kyle or Jodie and they will make sure that you are taken care of and that you leave with a smile on your face and a new place to call home! :D

Amazing community! We have lived here for two years and have been very happy. The apartments are very well maintained. The maintenance staff is timely and professional. I have always received same day service and have never had to make a call back; any service issue is always repaired correctly the first time. The maintenance staff is professional, courteous and respectful of my time and home. The office staff is very friendly and caring. You are not just another tenant; they care about you and your family. The property grounds are pristine. New flowers dot the landscape all spring and summer. The grass is always lush and the trees and shrubs meticulously pruned. After the hurricane in 2011, the landscape crew was working the next day (a Saturday, nonetheless) to clean up all downed limbs and leaves. We have had the opportunity to move as our family size has increased, but have chosen to transfer within Holly Point Apartments. With both apartment homes we have happily found new carpet and flooring, energy efficient double paned windows, a full top to bottom re-paint and updated appliances/fixtures. The janitorial staff is kind and courteous. The fitness facility is always spotless and in great condition. The fitness equipment has been upgraded recently. With TV's in the machines, I can watch my own shows while I workout! We also enjoy the use of the dog park, the many dog stations throughout the community, not one but two playgrounds, the car care center, and the sidewalks perfect for long walks. We highly recommend this community to our friends, relatives, and to anyone looking for a place to call home, not just an apartment.

My wife and I moved to Holly Point a month ago and we have been very impressed with everything. The property is well maintained and the maintenance staff is very helpful. When we first moved in I thought that our washer hook-up had a small leak so I called the office and the maintenance staff responded very promptly. The water hook-up was leaking because I didn't get the hose on right, but the maintenance staff fixed for me. The office staff is very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. There is a gym located in the main office building which is very convenient to use (I believe it is open 24-7). Our apartment is the most quiet and peaceful apartment I have ever lived in (and we just moved from a place that was mostly retirees over 55). Our apartment feels like new: we had new carpet when we moved in, all the kitchen cabinets and counter-tops were updated, and all of our appliances look and work great. Also, the community feels very safe and secure; our apartment came with a home security system and there is a security guard at the entrance gate every night. I have really enjoyed living at Holly Point and I would recommend it to anyone!

I have lived here with my wife for 4 years. We now have 2 children and a dog. We will be sad when I am transferred and we are forced to leave. This is, by far, the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. My wife feels completely safe walking the grounds, which are perfectly manicured. The office staff are always kind and courteous. We held out wedding in the complex's well-appointed common room. Maintenance is exceptional. Any and all issues, including those that were our fault, were handled immediately and correctly. If I ever live in another apartment it will be judged against Holly Point.

Holly Point is a beautiful apartment complex "5 STARS" no doubt!! I would refer all of my friends and family here! They always have beautiful landscape, 3 play grounds, Dog Park, beautiful swimming area... I could go on and on! To top it off the staff & maintenance workers are wonderful!!! It is awesome that they know almost everyone by name or at least recognize you. It is a MUST to live at HOLLY POINT!

Holly Point is a good place to live. The majority of the community are elderly. There was no issue with parking because you have 2 parking spaces in front of your private entrance and there is ample visitor parking. The only complaint is they need to upgrade the kitchen and bathrooms, although they are clean, they are no where up to date.

I lived here for about 3 years, 2007 - 2010. My overall experience was pretty good. The apartments are descent, and the lanscaping is nicely maintained. The office staff was very nice and helpful. I was given a good discount when I moved in, and the last 2 years they did try to raise the price but worked with me to keep it at the same level. You can hear the people beside you but I think that probably goes for all apartments. There is no assigned parking so the parking situation wasn't that great for me, but it mostly had to do with inconsiderate people that lived on the same street. I rarely got to parked in front of my own apartment because I worked late - so I would have to park all they way down at the end of the buildings then walk to my door - this wasn't so bad but it kinda sucked when you had 20 bags of groceries to carry. And one time I was able to get the space next to my door and the next morning someone had let the air out of my 2 of my tires =/. I rarley had any maintanence issues, but if I did it was mostly taken care of pretty quickly and I liked that they asked you first if it was okay to come into your apartment if you werent there.

Happy In Holly

I have lived at Holly Point from 2008-2011. If the jobs in my profession in the area were better I wouldnt leave. The office staff is very pleasant and have worked with me on personal concerns anytime I have needed them. Vicky, the manager is a very kind and compassionate woman who seems to really care about her tenants (especially the goods ones). Work orders are handled quickly and the staff are nice and pleasant. Neighbors are well... it depends on who you get. We do not have assigned parking but we are supposed to have 2 spots near our home, some people drive several cars and take up your spot. Most people tend to be respectful and as everyone starts to recognize other people's cars they will try to leave your spot alone (but this depends on your block and the people on it). Living in a ground level means I hear the people over my head. Usually they arent too load but there is the occasional neighbor who likes to let their child run all over your head. We do have quiet hours after 10 and most people respect it. They also have a FB page, so check it out to see pictures. That is where they announce some of the FREE community events that I always enjoy with my daughter. Overall I am very happy here and am sad that I am leaving.

I have really enjoyed living at Holly Point. Although they are apartments, it feels more like a town home due to the look of the outside of the apartments and the homey feeling of the entire complex. The upkeep on the grounds is impressive and nice. I love the dog park and free car care center. Also, the fitness center is open 24 hours a day which is really convenient. The people in the office are extremely nice and helpful.

Very well kept grounds. I love the private entrances. I wish security was 24/7. Staff is very polite and hard working, this includes the Maintenance crew. Offers places for pets to dispose their waste. Provides trash pick-up twice a week and a huge furniture container and a regular automated dumpster.

Wouldn't live anywhere else!!

I found Holly Point online from out of state! Upon arriving my first thoughts were it looks just like the pictures! This is one of the cleanest places I have ever lived! The grounds and streets are kept very clean! The apt was very clean when I moved in and I am picky about that stuff! They are all about the residents! We really do matter! You dont become no one after signing a lease...Being retired military we lived in alot of apts over the yrs. Although it had been over 20 yrs since we lived in an apt, I found this to be enjoyable from the get go!It has been a yr this mth and we have no plans of moving from here. We have never seen a place where they do so much for their residents!
