Excellent experience!!! Once you move here you will not want to leave. The business staff will go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of. My kids and I were sold on this place from the moment we met Natalie. I would recommend this place to everyone. It's a community like no other.

I stayed there for about four months. Aside from a couple disagreements with the finical manager, my experience was great for a first time apartment. THE ONLY DOWNFALL was: I asked (didn't get in writing) the leasing office about painting my apartment and I was told I could paint and leave it up because they paint every apartment after a tenant leaves. After I moved out, they charged me for painting the walls and leaving trash in my place. I wasn't able to dispute it because I'm military and moved overseas. If it wasn't for that, I would've moved back to these apartments after I returned. But I won't now. Aside from the painting issue, the neighborhood was nice and I loved my apartment. I'd recommend but beware of the things you ABSOLUTELY need to get into writing.

Great place to live! This is my second time around. They are well constructed, so you barely hear your neighbors. All the grounds are always well kept. Plenty of parking and I love huge kitchen and extra space and storage. They don't have all the uppity upgrades but... I'll trade that any day for all the space and other perks!!!

I love this community so well kept, very quiet staff is the best especially Vickie,my only concern has been parking I never said anything on this but it is getting worse people from all end come and park when I get home at night from work I have to ride in circles just to find a spot I'm 62 and have some problems with my feet so walking around the corner from wher I reside is a pain.some residents has 3::-vehicle and should park in the overflow they do not let their guess know to park in overflow ,it's very irritating especially when I respect then when my company visit me

My wife and I moved here about two and a half years ago and have enjoyed it every since moving in. We live in a two bed/two bath on the ground floor with an approximate 15'x15' concrete slab patio in the back. Satellite tv is available if you live on the ground floor only and storage in the unit is extremely limited. It is also important to note that there is no outdoor living space if you live on the second floor. Most people who live in the community are older professionals and some retired folks who have lived here for years.

We chose Hollypoint whilst still living in a different state. We chose HP due to the reviews and rating on many websites. I was so excited to move in there and start our life in VA. The first 2 months where ok.. Grounds are amazing, very beautiful and safe. The maîntenence men where always on time and done their job exceptionally. The staff in the office.. Well there was 2 women who was kind and upbeat and had great customer service skills in which one has now left. Unfortunately can't say the same for the rest. Our apartment was full of cat hairs when we moved in and pan and pot burns on the kitchen sides. The first night we slept well due to a busy day.. Then the next day we heard our neighbours upstairs. The noise was unbelievable. It sounded like they was going to come through the roof, even the fan was shaking! We put up with it for a few months until it got unbearable. We couldn't sleep or relax in our own home. We spoke to the ladies in office and they explained that they could move us to an upstairs apartment.. Which was not an option for us or speak to our neighbours to see if they will fix the floorboards. (I've heard off many residents at HP that they never speak to them or fix the floorboards they just move someone else In right away!) We decided to cancel our lease early. Which as soon as that was mentioned they office staff didn't want to know us, noses were turned up and we was getting ignored. It's all well and good untill they aren't getting your money anymore. I called Home office to speak to them regarding an issue and they couldn't even call me back! They are all close. We handed in our keys and was told our security deposit will be sent from a different place. We waited. Over a month later we received yet another bill from hollypoint. What a surprise.. They security deposit was taken from us due to nonsense that we had to pay back certain discount. The lady on the phone had no customer service skills and tried to speak over us countless times. We was told another person in the office had explained something to us which we had never been told! Lies upon lies. I'm very disappointed with hollypoint. We had a friend about to move there but luckily saved them from that. We have been renting for 9 years and NEVER experienced anything like this. We live in a much better place now, and will always look down on Hollypoint considering it was supposed to be a fantastic complex. People please be aware before you rent. Other minor problems included: Many car break in's even though there was gate security. Old apartments that haven't been updated in years! Terrible toilets that block constantly! Sockets/outlets are lose your plugs just fall back out Car parking is a nightmare if you finish work late For the expensive price you pay, there are much nicer places to rent.

The apartment is very spacious and affordable with lots of great extras, including 2 dog parks. The office staff is great. The area is great and always clean. They also let you have huskies which was fairly difficult to find in an apartment.

This is a very nice apartment community. I am happy that the pool and the exercise room have been updated. It is disappointing that hot tub keeps going out of order though. Grounds are kept up nicely. Office staff is friendly and helpful. Area is safe to live in.

My husband is in the military and we had to move with out seeing this property. They were really easy to deal with on the phone and the move in was very easy. The property was perfectly landscaped. I chose this apartment because of the size of the apartment and cost. We had an issue with our roof as we were on the second floor. Any time I had an issue the sent someone right over and got it fixed. Considering this property is really huge, we felt really safe. They have a guard at the gate after 5:00 pm. Mostly older people 70+ and military here. Im not sure how old these apartments are but the cabinets are old looking as well as the bathroom cabinets. However, the carpet and vinyl they put in the kitchen was better than most apartments. I never heard any of my neighbors at all. Parking was not an issue where i was located ,like i said most people were older so it was just them, only one car. The gym is old and not worth going to. My husband and I did go to the whirlpool alot and there was never anyone in there. The pool is really nice if you can go when its not crowded. Most pools arent very deep but this one was at least 8ft. They don't have a washer and dryer in the apartments but you can rent them. We moved because we wanted somewhere where we could walk to everything. There is a Farm Fresh across the street but its not that great if you are wanting whole foods kind of quality. You do have a very short drive to the mall and some restaurants. Over all this is a really nice place to live. I would recommend it if you want a safe and quite area and not looking for a night life.

It is a beautiful place to live. I love the lake and flowers and the many amenities it has. The rooms in the apartments are very spacious and nice. The neighbors are friendly and nice. You are near the mall and other stores.

I love residing in Holly Point. This is a community that makes you feel welcomed. The only issue that brings concern is the parking. It is wished that residents could have assigned parking. Survey form will not take until a certain number of characters is reached. Please look into that.

I am in my third year of residency at Holly Point and am very satisfied with my overall living experience here. Any time I submit a maintenance request it is followed up on no later then the next day. Neighbors are friendly enough, and though there are many children in this community, it is still a quiet environment. This is a very nice place to live.

When I moved in the grounds had just been renovated so, I was under the impression that it was always nice. Boy was I fooled. With in the two years I lived there. I can not remember a week that past that there were not break-ins into cars. Property being stolen from back patios constantly. Loud music at all hours of the night. A joke of a security company that was hardly ever there and when they are they are always on their cell phones or hanging with friends at the guard shack. The maintenance crew was horrible. I called to have a few switch plates replaced. They replaced them alright with 3 inch drywall screws. The drain for the air handler clogged and leaked water all over. Their fix was to break off the drain stand pipe and put in a sump pump that plugs into my outlet to cost another 50 dollars a month in electricity. The list goes on, the tile in the kitchen peeled up they used rubber cement to reattach the flooring and left glue everywhere. The corner store was robbed a few times during my stay. There were several drug busts at the local schools. I am glad to be gone that is for sure. Chesapeake PD has a web page that displays all the crime in the area, that area is lite up like a Christmas Tree on the map.

Holly Point had the best rating in the apartment guide and was my first pick for a reason the people who work at the complex are as nice as can be. my neighbors are great it makes a very nice place to come home to after a long days work. Holly Point is just that A HOME.
