I have lived here for six years. I think that if one does rent, this is a great place to do so. For me, its about service. The maintenance team, John, Vinnie, Joe, Mr. P., all of them, are amazing. They always respond quickly and professionally. On the unfortunate occassion of my needing service after hours, they have come in from home, after working all day, to make sure we were ok. They didnt have to do that. I have read here about the centipedes. YES. I have had that issue too. And they scare the heck out of me. But to say they do nothing about it is untrue. You have to be diligent about spraying, every week, for a month or so. That should get rid of them. I have found the staff to be extremely honest. Just b/c they don't react to things at the same level we are feeling them, doesnt mean they don't care or deny what we experience, Their job, is to remain calm, and fix the issue. And they always do.

It is wonderful living here, my family and i loves the area, its close to both of our work, and love how we have security at night and also love how theres only one way in and one way out, so it eliminates drive thru traffic

Property manager Vicki and maintenance manager john and their staff are top notch.their expertise and reaction to any maintenance issues is one of the reasons we have lived here for 20 plus plus. Their response has been fast to react to issues and the job is done right the first time.

This is my second opportunity to reside at Holly Point Apartments. My first living experience residing at 431 Red Bush Circle from 1989-1991 was great. My experience residing at 1517 Pine Grove Lane has been Outstanding. The Grounds are beautiful, the Maintenance Staff is very proficient and professional and the front office has always been outstanding. Could not be more pleased. Did not want to sell our home and move to apartment. One year later, we have not regretted one moment. Office staff friendly and courteous. Maintenance staff are a joy to have around. Overall, this is an excellent place to live.

The past ten months have been great! I love my big three-bedroom apartment. The management and maintain staff are the best! I haven't had any issues with my apartment or the staff at Holly Point Apartments! I highly recommend Holly Point Apt.

Beware! The infestation of centipedes is ridiculous. First they will act like they don't know what you're talking about when you speak of the critters THEN they will say well they are in majority of the apartments...as if to say just deal with it. I've never lived with an infestation of bugs let alone these creepy things but to pay the amount of money that this community charges for rent and have to deal with bugs crawling on you,all over your house. Just last night I'm on my couch and one hopped off the ceiling on me. I don't even sit anywhere in my house without a light on, this is how bad they are. All the office will do is keep having their lame pest control folks come and spray that mess that the centipedes don't even care about. The water smells like boiled eggs in the bathroom and kitchen faucets. Everything else is ok but these are two major problems that Holly Point won't do anything about.

Jennifer Bishop is super friendly and helpful. She made it too easy to move in. I like how quiet it is in the neighborhood. The fitness equipment could be updated though. And I really dislike that other grounds are well kept except where I am. Because like the tree is constantly having stuff falling and the part that is supposed to be grass isn't that nice. But I still like the area and apartment.

We Have lived in multiple apartments since 1994 from Massachusetts to Virginia. There is no question that Holly Point is by far the best home we have had. The manager and office personnel are exceptional. We cannot say enough about the maintenance staff. We have had no problems at all since we have been here. Lastly, this community is quiet and the grounds are beautiful.

Very useful and helpful for us when living across the country and not being from this area. We had no idea what this area would be like and the staff worked with us to get set up and comfortable. We ended up having a place to move into the day we arrived and it was a relief.

My husband and I moved from another state to Holly Point soon after our wedding and we have been nothing other than trilled with our home, the staff, and the community. Work orders are answered and fixed in a timely manner by a very sweet maintenance staff. The community is always well maintained and clean. It is important that we live in a safe place for children as our small nieces and nephews visit a lot in the summer, and we have never had a problem! We will be living here until we decide to buy or get stationed elsewhere.

PLEASE READ DO NOT IGNORE THE TRUTH OF HOLLY POINT!!!: I hate Holly point now and I cant wait for my lease to be up in November!! Please ignore the 5 star comments after every bad comment it is the Apartment managers giving themselves 5 stars!! Its ALL A LIE! First: The apartments are INFESTED with CENTIPEDES! when I mean INFESTED i mean INFESTED with ALOT of CENTIPEDES!! They claim they spray but they DO NOT! it is CENTIPEDES everywhere.. Second: They have BAD PARKING.. Visitors park in your spot and you have to walk far away from your car to your door because a visitor parked in a resident spot. Office does nothing says to deal with it. Claim they tow but they dont. They dont even check visitor passes. Cars I seen sitting in my street for a while with the same visitor pass so that should tell you that they DONT CARE! Third: yes they have security.. BUT the security does NOTHING! The oriental man DOESNT even come out of the booth I dont know how he still has a job! He lets anyone come in thats probably why so many people have there cars broken into (Dont believe me check google reviews for holly point) Fourth: Yes they have free water... BUT the free water is coming from the DIRTY MURKY TRASH INFESTED canal that you see running along the community... If you ever want to view holly point check the canal.. think about it FECES, DUCK CRAP, TRASH, FUNGUS, DIRTY FISH, DIRTY TURTLES, AND LILY PADS are in that water. It hasnt been clean for the two years I have been here. TRUST ME go look at the canal thats your free water that you brush your teeth and shower with i promise you its DIRTY AND THEY DONT CLEAN IT EVER... Fifth: The rent is going up for them to not have anything updated. Holly point was number one but they have gone down hill from LEAKS, CENTIPEDES, DIRTY WATER THEY GIVE FOR FREE, OUTDATED ITEMS IN HOME, AMENITIES NOT WORKING. For the pay you can find your self a nice home to rent or another apartment complex that is alot better. Sixth: They have a car wash center but no need to go there waste of time.. ITS ALL BROKEN BUT ONE HOSE. Which is bad because its always packed. And I see the maintenance workers going there to wash there cars while paying residents who are paying more rent then them are waiting for the one hose that works and the sorry vaccums that suction nothing PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND LOOK ELSE WHERE AS YOU CAN SEE HOLLY POINT DOESNT RESPOND TO ITS ONE STAR REVIEWS ASKING HOW THEY CAN DO BETTER OR HOW THEY CAN FIX PROBLEMS THEY JUST CREATE A GOOGLE ACCOUNT AND ADD A 5 STAR REVIEW AFTERWARDS. PLEASE DO RESEARCH STAY AWAY FROM HERE NOT WORTH THE HEADACHE, CAR BREAK INS, LAZY SECURITY, CENTIPEDES, BAD PARKING, OH DID I FORGET CENTIPEDES... BEWARE... BEWARE.. BEWARE....

Our move-in experience was sub-par. The leasing agents were friendly, but the apartment was not clean and had several defects in the bathrooms and kitchen. The management did agree to correct the deficiencies, and for that were thankful.

I am so happy with my new apartment. I have been here one week as of today. The entire office staff and maintenance staff have been wonderful and so accommodating. My entire apartment was so beautiful the day I arrived and that made my transition very smooth. I give Holly Point an "EXCELLENT" on their superior customer service. And, it is super quiet. No noise issues for me! Did I mention that we have free security systems in our apartments? As the younger generation would say, "They are the Bomb!"

Holly Point Apartments in an excellent place to live. The office and maintenance staff and friendly and care about any issues you bring to them. Something broken? Maintenance will fix in the same day you bring it to their attention. The landscaping is constantly being maintained keeping an inviting look to the property. My only issue with my apartment is that my floors in my kitchen and bathroom are not updated and the tree in front of my living room window blocks out the natural lighting (This is just my pickiness). Further, the apartment are in an excellent location where you have quick access to target, greenbrier mall, pier one, kirklands, starbucks, olive garden, Panera, buffalo wild wings....I could go on and on. If you want good prices, good people, great location and a nice place to live, come to Holly Point!

Holly Point is great! The maintenance & office staff are very kind and professional. The apartments themselves are well maintained and have nice layouts. We have lived in 3 different floor plans & all have been great. The landscaping is well maintained and there are trash cans provided around the property to take care of any pet business.
